If I had one complaint, it would be that the metal could have been a little thicker. The average thickness is comparable to that of a quarter dollar in the United States. It's not in any danger of bending, but I prefer buckles that have a little more heft to them. But I'm not going to penalize it for that. br>br>However, the workmanship is excellent, and the design is one of my favorites. It's the new buckle on my belt that I'll be wearing every day.
The buckle on the belt is stunning. In some of the photos, the eye appears to have a pupil, which would have made it look a lot cooler, but it's actually just filled in. It's not a major issue. The buckle is thinner than I expected, but it is of good quality; shipping took a long time, but that was to be expected for an item shipped from Ukraine; I would order more buckles from this company.
Belt I made. I really like the buckle; it's very sturdy and it looks great. The only thing I didn't care for was the gleaming background. This was easily fixed with a burnt umber wash, which dulled it just enough to make the bird pop even more. It will look fantastic with the rest of your outfit!.
Great product, I really like it, and it goes well with my belt.
