UPDATE (a few days after my original review): Ok, I changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because YES, THEY ARE STRANGELY ADDICTIVE! I've already consumed four full packages, and I'm not sure why. I believe I have a minor self-esteem issue. Not only am I devouring them right out of the package, but there are times when I find myself imagining what dishes I could use them in, and my mouth starts watering when I see the box all the packs came in. It's so strange! br>br>I should have done a little more research before ordering these. They are not at all what I expected based on the description and main package image. I was expecting a firm chip or cracker when I read crunchy. Like texture, but they're actually very thin nori sheets (I can see through areas of them when held up to light), quite large (like holding two saltine crackers side by side), and the actual texture is really difficult to describe; the best I can say is think of a flattened churro sliced paper thin that isn't firm or thick enough not to bend a bit if a light breeze passed by. They do have a smidgeon of crispiness, as does anything deep or air fried in oil. Considering the price, and the fact that I love authentic wasabi paste so much that when I go out for sushi, I eat tiny bits of it all by myself for that head rush I get from my sinuses temporarily burning, I was expecting them to contain wasabi, but instead they're that imitation version made with another type of horseradish and spicy mustard. (yes, I'm weird) Regardless, the taste was good enough for me to eat a few sheets, but I stopped because it made me crave sushi rice so badly that I felt irritated that I couldn't have any. I'll probably eat a few sheets here and there, maybe dab some soy sauce on them, but I'm not in the mood to eat the entire pack at once. That's a bummer because I still have 11 packages to finish before the end of the year: I didn't expect them to be in a plastic tray inside the outer packaging because, once again, I was expecting chips. Perhaps I'll give some to my father. I'm not sure. At the very least, they don't have that annoying pg65 cancer and reproductive harm warning on them like most Asian food sold in the US these days, so that's a big plus (although that doesn't really matter to me either because I'm in remission from cervical cancer that eventually spread elsewhere and is still being treated, but that's life)br>br>Perhaps you will enjoy this product immensely, but unfortunately I will not be purchasing these a second.
QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE: We ordered multiples of this (12 count package) and my husband is now eating them! Organic seaweed, Organic Extra Virgin OLIVE Oil, Lime Juice Powder, Sea Salt They are INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ORDER THESE, THEY ARE AMAZING!.
It isn't overpowering in any way. br>These have replaced my favorite seaweed snack as my new favorite.
Although a little pricey, this is my favorite seaweed snack. It would be ideal if the manufacturer provided heavy metal testing documentation.
So I bought a second pack of Lime to go with the Barbeque flavor. I really like this snack because it's nutritious, and I'm going to try it with some konjac rice one morning. 👍.
These come in adorable little sheets that are beautifully packaged. Unfortunately, I had never tried seaweed before and found it to be disgusting. Although the lime was delicious, the seaweed was not. However, I'm sure they're fantastic for someone who enjoys them.
I searched high and low for roasted seaweed that was free of sunflower, canola, sesame, or grapeseed oil and came across this! This is something that the kids can't get enough of. This is a delicious dish!.
