A serving of this product provides 680 mg. There are 2 servings in each
One can of this product has 510mg of sodium, which is about 22% of your daily sodium intake. To be quite honest, it's astounding how much sodium is found in 99% of packaged food in the United States. The sugar and salt are perfect means of hiding the low quality of the food when compared with the prepared meals in France or Italy, but 510mg of sodium for a can of soup, I find it rather outrageous. I just find it funny that the label says Low Sodium. Although there is no such thing as a decent product low in salt, even organic and "healthy" brands in the US use a lot of it
You can use the soup to make it go farther with pasta and pasta sauce, though it is not a concentrated type like Campbell's condensed soup is. Amy's soup is combined with two cups of gluten free cooked penne, and 3/4 cup to 1-cup of a good pasta sauce or Marinara, plus additional green peas or other vegetables to make a large pot of soup that can feed four people comfortably. If you add some crushed saltines or water crackers to give it more bulk, you have a filling dinner. If you want an even bigger pot of soup, you can add diced white potatoes, cooked carrots, or any of the other canned vegetables. If you want an even better taste, season it with garlic salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
Neither the lining nor the bottom contain BPA.

What is the purpose of putting all Amy's Soups together in one place. It is clear that some of the software is better than others, so I have given three stars to them. It would have received two stars if it had been tomato soup. It is better to buy a bar of candy next time I want something that sweet and with that much sugar in it. Tomato soup does not deserve a recommendation.
Similar to the , I might do the same thing The Amy's Light in Sodium Organic Chunky Tomato Bisque is great. It's the best creamed tomato soup I've ever had! It's also organic, so that's an added bonus. My only complaint is that it's too sweet for me. I do not find this to be a bad thing, as I see these benefits As I heat it up, I add a touch of cream or half-n-half There's a half-and-half, and then some low-fat In this recipe, I use low sodium organic chicken broth (which I buy in boxes, such as Pacific brand and Imagine brand, because I can use just what I need and keep the remainder in the fridge). In addition to reducing the sweetness and acidity, the sodium content per serving is also reduced. The flavor of the delicious beer does not get diluted because they are very strong in the first place. The classic cream of tomato taste is changed by adding a crushed garlic clove (very tasty and healthy but does change the classic way of making it) This is an excellent way to get garlic into my diet, especially when I've got a cold or need to recover from sickness. It is likely that I would do the same thing if I had The el, normal sodium) version softens the acidity and lowers the sodium. In summary, the contents act as a STARTER and BASE for creating a soup that is more flavorful, healthier, and less expensive. Regardless of where you are on the island, this is the best cream of tomato soup I have yet to find. Since the excess sweetness allows me to adjust it to my personal taste, as mentioned above, I don't lose any of the In addition to stretching the soup, this helps it thicken. As a secondary benefit to such an expensive product, it is highly desirable! (Sugar is commonly added to tomato sauce, and I also add a little This much just isn't right.
The soup is a favorite of my son. We are extremely satisfied with the product. My last order arrived with more dented and cracked cans than not, which is why I gave it a low score. It is important to package packages more tightly and to include more padding for shipping. The product was in its original form in the original shipping package, in a too large box with another small item and one plastic bag of a size that was insufficient. Additionally, the cans appeared to be in a worse state than the box indicated. As a result, the cans were worse damaged than the packaging. In this case, I was suspicious that the cans had been sent to me in poor shape. Cans appear to be in good condition however, the labels are mangled. Such a smashed can would never be sold in a store to me. Therefore, I am not satisfied with the purchase I made.
I like the fact that this soup is low in sodium, it is slightly sweet, a little creamy, and not too acidic. I also like the fact that it is not too acidic. Makes you feel like you've eaten at home. When I first received my cans, they looked like this There was only one dented can out of the twelve. There were not just little dents, but good-sized dents as well as multiple dents on several cans. Several of the replacements were dented as well, but replacements were sent in a timely manner.
Until now, I have not met a tomato soup that I don't like. When I saw that Amy's tomato soup was on sale (well, less expensive than usual), I grabbed it! The toys were packed into a box that included an Intex queen-size mattress as well. When it arrived, the box weighed a ton and had been severely damaged. As far as my Amazon orders or my Amazon sellers are concerned, this is unusual. There were two cans that were not damaged out of the 12 that were tested. All of the other 9 were I'm not talking about little bump dents either, I'm talking about big, huge dents. Each can was tossed around individually, and then they were piled up like a gorilla! There is even damage to the top of two of the cans. My method of opening them is not clear to me. It is not clear whether I should send them back or just know not to order soup cans online in the future? If you sip tomato soup from a dents can, you are liable to contract That was funny! If I asked my mom to buy a can in the store with even the slightest dent, she would not do what she did. As a result, you could get botulism if you ate food in a can like that! It's funny you mention Amazon. I've never contacted them, but they have excellent customer service and I'm sure that they would certainly fix the problem. I would like to know whether they will replace it or refund me.
Amy's soups are ideal if you're a vegetarian, but others are less expensive. Since I am a real purist, I have decided to make and freeze my own Tomato Bisque, but I prefer Amy's over canned bisque.
As a health precaution, I ordered this for my mother, who limits her sodium, cholesterol, and fat intake. My daughter loves this soup and says it's the best canned tomato soup she's ever had. A rave review has been left for the flavor and As long as the nutritional values are satisfactory, she can consume the food as often as she desires. It's not uncommon for my sister to steal a bowl when we are around when my mom is warming it up. However, In addition to being used as a base for other recipes, sauces, etc. , it can also be used for other ingredients.
