We want you to know up front that this is not like buying chunks of fresh lobster straight from a can. The can is of lobster bisque, which is a thick cream soup with a lobster base Contains lobster meat minced into a soup base. Surely if you go to an expensive restaurant you can find seafood bisque with huge pieces of lobster or crab for $30 a bowl, but you won't be able to find it in a can, regardless of its price. $5 soup is most certainly not the place to find it. That said, I have tried just about any can billed as lobster or crab bisque (and yes, I have also had it in decent restaurants, so I know what the difference is). I'm here to inform you that not all brands of bisque are the same. Seafood bisque from this brand is one of the best brands on the market. This is a decent can of lobster bisque, as far as canned foods go. You are going to be hard-pressed to find a better canned product. There is a mild flavor of seafood (not fishy). It is creamy. In any case, if you wish to enhance it with fresh lobster or crab, you can do so, but I prefer to eat it by itself if I have fresh lobster or crab. In fact, you can enhance the soup to make it more delicious with an expensive can of crab meat, but that would be more expensive than the soup to begin with. Nevertheless, I am willing to put up with the inconvenience, since I suffer from permanent seafood deficiency syndrome and live in the Midwest. Although it sells very well as a standalone soup, it can still be quite tasty as part of a meal. Do not complain that it does not have fresh lobster meat on it. If you do not want to pay a significant price hike, you can add them yourself, or you can just enjoy this bisque as It's a creamy seafood based soup The price of a can of soup is $5. Condensed clam chowder that I have found to be excellent

Since the overwhelmingly negative reviews mostly complained about the lack of taste, I chose to emphasize the word CONDENSED. This soup has a wide range of serving suggestions on its label depending upon its quantity of salt, cream, etc. Obviously, you do not have to do anything to this, and if you like it that way, it is fine, but in my opinion, canned foods that aren't overly salty and fattened up don't have as much flavor as this soup does. My favorite thing about this soup is the big clams that form the base. Clam chowder makes you feel strangely satisfied, leading you to wonder what other clam chowders are like. It is just right and the taste and consistency are just right, since I made it that way. It is delicious with low fat milk, butter, and sea salt and pepper to my PERSONAL taste. There are days when I like my sauce thinner and some days when it's saltier. Everything I do is controlled by me, so I get "baby bear" soup every time. the clam chowder I love and I am a repeat purchaser so I would recommend it to everyone.

The reviews for this product appear to be different from reviews for other Harbor Bay chowders/products. Creamless (broth-based. Born in Rhode Island, but now reside outside it. To dip Rhode Island Clam Cakes in Rhode Island Clam Chowder is one of the best purposes for Rhode Island Clam Chowder. I like the broth because it's clear. Compared to New England style, it is healthier. I love it with clam cakes, as it penetrates the cake nicely! In my opinion, Rhode Island style clam chowder is exactly what I liked as a kid, and it is everything I would expect of such a Therefore, if you do not like broth, then you do not like it An American classic, Rhode Island clam chowder is based on the clams of the state.

To give you a reference, my personal opinion is that Red Lobster Clam Chowder may be the best. Potatoes, clams, and many other tasty ingredients make this soup thick, rich, and flavorful. RL is probably the best canned soup out there, maybe even better than Capt Marriner's. Since Capt is out of business, focusing on vegan uses, I'm looking for a replacement and bought a few brands available on Amazon, I tried this one first. This is a 2 (there are no 10s), not a 5. Using only a half can of half & half would work as well I could not finish half of it because it was so watery and bland. only reason I gave it 1 star was because of the large clam pieces, not because there were so many and since I could not give it There is little flavor in this broth. I am sorry bar harbor, but you are nowhere near. Efforts to track down the missing persons continue.

Based on the reviews, I'm sure it's worth it. The Manhattan Clam Chowder I ate while living in Rhode Island is something I remember well. There has never been any soup that tastes quite like this before. People who say it's authentic don't have to argue with me. It tastes like nothing I've ever eaten in my lifetime. It's flavorless except for a bitter taste that cannot be watered down or mixed with other ingredients for it to become To enjoy the soup, I wanted to find a creative way to do it. Stocked up on it and used it to make soup. I have added spices to the dish. However, the flavor is still bitter and there is no redeeming quality to it. Obviously, if you're looking for the authentic clam juice stock that other reviews claim this is, you'd be wise to consider this product to be worth 5 stars. You must take precaution if this is the first time you have eaten such a thing. There are no pallets for a wide range of people who eat it. one of those things you either love or hate after one bite. It ranks with foods like chitlins and cow tongue that there are people who give them high marks (because I grow up in Pennsylvania Dutch country, I was a big pickle cow tongue sandwich fan). As an adult, I can't imagine you will enjoy playing this game for the first time.
