are in good hands This sauce is from Perrins. From what I have seen on the market, it's the best. My guess is that the problem here was the way the items were stored in the warehouse. As a result, the bottles started to leak from the heat. Upon arrival at my home, they were sticky from head to toe. I believe that under excessive heat, the glue was pushed out of the bottles even though they were sealed and the caps were on tight. The sticky stuff on top was definitely dried out sauce, and under the plastic was a layer of dried out sauce. Although the product is fine, nothing is wrong with it. In spite of its age, it is still in very good condition.
