Questions & Answers
I'm not sure, but I really enjoy it.
It has a tonkatsu-like flavor.
The sauce I bought has an expiration date of October 11, 2021.
I simply photographed the ingredients listed on the back of the large bottle (78. We bought a 7 oz) bottle. The ingredients on the back of the bottle shown on Amazon do not match the ingredients on the front of the bottle. There isn't a single animal-related item on the list. The contents of the bottle we received were product related. High fructose corn syrup, oyster powder, and other items can be seen in the Amazon photo. There are no such ingredients in our bottle. On the front of the bottle we received, there is also a label that says "vegan." I hope you find this information useful.

Keep things as they were. I purchased this large okonomiyaki sauce with the expectation that it would be nearly identical to my favorite Otafuku Okonomiyaki sauce. br>br>Unfortunately, the sauce didn't taste anything like the original when I first tried it. Coca-Cola and Coke have a lot in common. Cola is a brand of cola that is kept in a store. Overall, Otajoy's sauce has an odd aftertaste and is less concentrated in terms of flavor/umami. br>br>Even if it's a little more expensive, I'm going back to the original.
Because there is no store in or near my town that sells the sauce, I have to make a special trip to Uwajimaya in Seattle to purchase some. I considered purchasing online, but the first five or six sites I visited were all extremely expensive, with shipping costs exceeding the cost of the items - Sometimes it's even more! Then I came across this massive bottle of OtaJoy Okonomi Sauce that was reasonably priced and shipped for free! I was worried it would taste different from the other brand I was using, but it is EXACTLY the same. I won't have to go to Uwajimaya for a long time. ) It arrived quickly and in good condition. It's also jam-packed. Thank you very much.
When I lived in Japan, my favorite regional dish was Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki, though I prefer to make Osaka style because it is more convenient. When I make Sunday dinner, my kids always want to come home. To mix things up a little, I sometimes use hash brown style potatoes instead of cabbage. On egg sandwiches, this sauce is also fantastic. There are no Japanese grocery stores within 800 miles of my home, so Amazon comes to the rescue once more. Purchasing the large container saves money and keeps the food fresh for up to 6 months in the fridge. It will take me 8 months to finish it.
Using this method, I was able to make okonamiyaki for the first time. Since then, I've tweaked the recipe and re-created it. This is fantastic with the Kewpie.
(It's called "Otafuku" in Japanese. ) This sauce has a fruity flavor to it. )br> It's a little spicy, but it's got a nice taste to it. br>I use it to make okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and deep-fried seafood such as oysters and squid. br>Basically, it goes with everything! br>br>It's true that the original Japanese version is slightly thicker. However, I think this American version tastes just as good, and the price is also appealing!.
Once a month, three times a month, three times a month, three times When you've consumed that much Okonomiyaki, purchasing a 78. It makes a lot of sense to use a 7-ounce container! The Otajoy flavor is pleasant, tangy, and sweet, which complements the savory nature of the pancakes we prepare. You're ready to go with some Kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, and sliced scallion.
We used to buy it in smaller containers, but now we refill them with this. The flavor is fantastic, and I would strongly advise you to try it. If you want to make an Asian version, you can use this instead of pizza sauce on homemade pizza.
We get a gallon of it!.
