A strong jar of the tangy sauce would be just the thing I was looking for It's the stuff you'd find at Chinese restaurants, sweet duck sauce. As I sat down with my (what I thought) would be a great treat, I made myself a pile of egg rolls. The answer is no. What we're dealing with here is nothing more than a sticky, sugary dessert This sweet goop has no flavor. The flavor of this can't be described as tangy or sour. There is no contrast to the sweet, and it has none of the bright citrus notes you might expect. Should I be able to return it, I would. It was a complete.

There is no better duck sauce than this. There is no evidence of it in So Cal as it appears to be a NE type of thing only. I am so glad that Amazon allows you to purchase this wonderful product that I have missed terribly. This sauce is fantastic on ribs and chicken. It is not too sweet or heavy.

There have been reports that this seller has a propensity to pack extremely poorly, which causes damage & causes delays Products were delivered in a box that should have had good padding, but in fact had one small air cushion on one side of the box, nothing under the inner box, visible leakage from outside. Upon opening, I found a sticky mess all over the cement basement floor and walls. There was a washer beside the box where we hastily placed it. Neither the inner box nor the outer box were saturated I called my mother, she told me the sauce was in a thin plastic bag. It looked like it contained one or perhaps both of the large, GLASS bottles of While trying to find out if both bottles were smashed, the person unpacking almost sliced himself up. As a result, he had to fish through broken glass & grime to find his way out It was a chore to get out the intact bottle with oozing sauce, which also meant a washable basket was needed to take care of it all A cart to be taken upstairs, separated, and disposed of After washing, the survivor dried. Those boxes with drips had to be thrown in the trash & It had to go in the garbage, which was kept in the garage out of reach of raccoons and what not, something we don't normally have to deal with, but the sticky sweet smell sure made them want to come look, just in case. In fact, I selected the web, the place where I had previously found out how to request a refund, after numerous HOLDS, CHATS, and endless attempts to get me to use the phone to speak with an actual person, after repeatedly asking me to use the phone. The DuckSauce Support Group appears to be needed since we are experiencing withdrawal when this is no longer readily available in our North Eastern grocery stores (I agree, probably C19, we recognize that) and this is no longer consistently available in our North Eastern grocery stores. What are you talking about? Yeah, I think so. It's OK to have weaknesses, we all have them. Would like Amazon to take action against these sellers who do not pack these items in a way to make shipping practices more accurate. According to this, AZ is to blame, but since the item was sold (or was labeled as coming from) the seller, it appears that he or she is not responsible.

It is sweet, just so you know what you're buying before you buy it -- I wanted sauce which is not horribly sweet, since this sauce is. Does this mean it's OK to use sour-and-sour sauce on dogs? I prefer this sauce over duck duck sauce which is thicker and darker. The flavor is lighter and, as I said, had been hoping that I would be able to get the duck sauce that I used to have back in NY, but I was not successful. However, you do get a lot of sauce for your money if you can handle the sweetness.

In my case, I believe I will be able to last well over a year with this. The taste was not bad when I ate it with a piece of fish. My mouth is watering as I think of how delicious it will be in a stir fry or some other food I imagine! Whatever it is I try it with or on, I am sure to enjoy the taste. This is tangy yet sweet, and you can't have any more. I'm eager to try other foods as well.

The sauce on cooked white rice is so much easier than using those tiny plastic packets of Duck Sauce you get at Chinese restaurants. I was just ordered another 40-ounce bottle since I eat so much rice since it's cheap, filling, and fast. It definitely makes eating rice more enjoyable. I like it a lot!.

There is no pepper or salsa in this duck sauce, which is the only one that I have found without any hot ingredients. Compared to the packets you get at the Chinese restaurant, this is better. When I tried the two side by side, I found this to be a bit sweeter and had less of an aftertaste than the packet. I'm so happy! I will have to order more, it's a big jar, but I have already finished half of it. My order for three or four jars has already been placed.
