I love it. In the event that you are a vegetarian or vegan and you like asian stir-fries You need to get this stuff from Frys. Every vegetable and tofu I cook with it tastes great and is healthy, too. It is a resounding recommendation.
My jaw dropped when I saw this. However, the flavor is not exactly the same as oyster sauce itself, though it is pretty close. Although I am not vegetarian, my wife is, and as a woman of Asian descent, I always had a desire to share my Chinese dishes with her, and this will enable me to do so. Now that I have this, I am going to make vegetarian baozi!.
Perfect! I am so happy to have found this. The boyfriend I'm with is allergic to shellfish, and I needed to make a vegetarian With its consistency and savory taste, this was just what I was looking for.
I use it in vegan pad Thai because I love the flavor. Sauces like this are great for vegetarian cooking because they are thick and rich. There are quite a few drops in the bottle, so it will last quite.
Oyster sauce is not the same but it's a good alternative. This flavor is very similar to the original, but seems to work even better in stir-fries Today is the first night I've tried it and I'm not disappointed.
I have not been able to find a vegan oyster sauce, not even at our local Asian market. As far as taste goes, it's excellent and a great price for this size of bottle. My husband couldn't tell the difference between this and real oyster sauce when I used it.
Leaving is the last thing I ever want to do!.
The only thing I don't like is that there is only one size of bottle I believe this to be I could use this for 3 years with an 8 oz bottle. My inclination is not to eat it all the time, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to use it after it becomes stale. It will probably be another 6 months to a year before I look for another bottle. Though the price was excellent, the quality was poor. You can open a Chinese restaurant for a month or something like that.
