Neither Namprik Maesri LTD nor Eastland Food Corp. used BPA in the production of this product. Several curry pastes were named in the report. It is a yellow curry, but I would recommend the Maesri Thai Kang Later curry, as it has a much better flavor overall and is also Depending on the cooking instructions/portions on the can, it can have a light spice taste.

Two times I've ordered this, most recently on 2/12/2020, and both times I received a warning regarding cancer and reproductive harm on the top of the can. Even if I don't live in California, I would still prefer not to eat food contaminated with those chemicals. It doesn't actually say what the tab is for, so I'm assuming it's for BPA. My one regret is that I don't think I will buy this flavor.
Masaman curry is one of those dishes that impressed me once I tried it at a restaurant, so I searched for it to make it In all honesty, I have no idea what the flavors taste like to me except that I don't usually enjoy curry a lot. The taste and mouthfeel of masaman still evoke that signature curry taste, but somehow it is different. Though I was a bit nervous about a meal that was not up to par with what I had at the restaurant, I was so pleasantly surprised. For three people, there are enough servings in the cans. Because this is something I plan to order regularly, I wish they had a Subscribe & Save option. With this dish, I can include just about any type of vegetable I want to eating. I mix the veggies and cashews with coconut milk with the curry paste and serve with jasmine rice on the side. This is such a great way to get more vegetables into my diet.
While I'm not a curry expert, I really enjoy the masaman curry I get from a local Thai restaurant, so I decided to try making it myself. Veggies are one of the reasons I chose the Maesri brand It is vegan-friendly since it does not contain fish paste. I heat half a can of the paste until fragrant and then stir in one can of light coconut milk, one diced sweet potato, one onion, and one carrot, then let it boil until For protein, you can add chickpeas or baked tofu, along with roasted peanuts and you'll have a tasty homemade meal that you've cooked yourself for much less than you would pay out. It makes a great leftover as well. To eat the leftovers, I keep them in a tupperware container in the refrigerator until I make another batch. This is definitely worth the price for getting eight batches of curry from four cans! I wish I could find this locally, but I am happy to have it delivered with Prime shipping on Amazon.
This is the third time I've bought them in the last couple of years because I love them. One of my cans had a long hair in it when I opened it last week. Since the can was fully sealed, we knew this had been placed there by There was an imbedded hair in the middle and its texture wasn't similar to my hair, so I am certain it wasn't mine. If hair can get in there, God only knows what else can get in there. It goes without saying that I threw that can out, along with the rest of the unopened cans (including different flavors), as I no longer trust this brand. Oh, and the California cancer and reproductive harm label is new to me. Although I did try to roll with it, I probably still wouldn't have reordered it even if it weren't for the hair in the.
I received a shipment today with the cancer warning and reproductive harm declaration. My assumption is that there is something wrong with the can, the bpa or the soldering The item comes from Thailand and I am shocked to see that places are still processing things with substance that has been proven to cause cancer. The only time I make it is maybe once a month, but I still do not want to consume these harmful things knowingly.
We will buy this again! Finished it yesterday and I like how it turned out. A pound and a half of beef simmered. I roasted a London broil (bought on sale), potatoes, carrots, and onions (all very tender), then added them to a pot in which I heated up half a tin of curry paste and 1 can of light It suits my taste as an "American media"). Delicious and looked wonderful Perhaps adding a bit more coconut milk or water next time would have been nice, as I would have loved more of the sauce (it thickened up remarkably). This is a wonderful deal as it will make a lot of curry sauce with four small tins of ingredients You can definitely find me buying more in the future!.
When prepared, this curry paste tastes very similar to the Masaman curry made by the Thai restaurant in my area that I like best. Though I have used various brands of coconut milk in the past, I liked this one, which I also purchased from Amazon, the best.
I have never seen Masaman Curry Paste in stores nearby, so I have tried numerous recipes to recreate it using red curry paste and other ingredients, but nothing compares to it. Whenever I have a craving for Masaman Curry, I can make this at home and it tastes just like the one I'd order. This saves me so much money because I can create it at home because it really hits the spot! My last can will be ordered when I'm down to my last! The following has been updated It's so hard to convince people that vegan food can be totally delicious! I just bought my second package of these today, and I love the new packaging that makes this very clear that they are 100% vegan and gluten free! Very helpful for someone like me who is a vegetarian!.
