CoCo Ichibanya Curry House, Pork curry (pack of four)

The desire for Cocos has been with me since I left Okinawa twelve years ago. In Japan you get a lot of stuff that you can't get online, so I purchased this to get a close approximation. Cocos's stuff is the real deal. 100% of the time, I recommend. The guy who left one star, Jeff, was mistaken in assuming that more servings were included because you assumed incorrectly that the product included more servings.

In my mind, I assumed you meant 4 packages of curry paste or that each box was a concentrate for the outrageous price. For instance, I buy a package of golden curry for $3 and it makes enough for 6 people. The number of people is 8. There are literally 4 boxes of ONE SERVING per box. Thus, $8 is what you are talking about. A BOWL OF FOOD will cost 50 cents. My meal at the restaurant was so cheap, even the meat and rice weren't that expensive. I will never buy this product again, it is such a waste of money.

After working as an English teacher for a year in Nagoya, I moved back to the US. It wasn't quite possible to cook all that often for me because I didn't have much of a kitchen and my work schedule was usually such that I got home late enough from work that I really didn't want to cook. I stumbled across the CoCo Ichibanya Curry House while exploring the food options in my area and went on a food journey that can only be described as an addiction. As a result, there's a possibility I'm biased It saved me from starvation and helped me survive The flavor of this curry is similar to that of B Foods curries. A fundamental difference between CoCo Ichibanya and that is that it cooks pork (pork belly/bacon) into it until it has basically melted. The result is a really delicious, deep umami flavor.

The level of spice in the regular pork curry is about the same as the previously mentioned spicy and very spicy curry. This is the equivalent of B Foods. In my experience, I would put that brand on the "medium" spice level that most Indian or Thai restaurants have over the years. Or more simply put, it won't burn you, but you probably won't need much to add unless you tend toward the spice dudes. The dish is delicious with more spice and CoCo Ichibanya is well known for providing an additional 10 levels of spice above this product.

The packaged product did not disappoint my memory of the actual preparation being served consistently at all places wherever I ate. Just throw your money at the screen, and you'll get that flavor back if you've lived in Japan in a place where they had CoCo Ichibanya!.

With CoCos at home, you will never be without them. This is the same curry you'd get at the restaurant, in case you were curious. My order shipped much more quickly than estimated, and my customer service was excellent. Personalized letters thanking me for my purchase were sent to me from the company.

You can't satisfy your craving with boxes of Golden Curry. My wife had not eaten curry before, so I decided to order it as a surprise. As soon as they entered the kitchen and smelled it, I knew they would recognize it and be intrigued to know what magic had been worked to make CoCo's You might want to check out Amazon. com! There are cheaper alternatives out there, but if you want a taste of CoCo's, then this is perfect for you. They only sell brown sauce on their menu, so we're missing it.

The gift will be a little something for my husband and me on Christmas morning Suitable for kids as well as an extra surprise- There is something special to give for every occasion. I can already smell the smell of CoCo Ichibanya in this sauce as soon as it hits the pan to be warmed. I can also taste it as I remember it. It was nice to have a treat like this. This is a great product, and I am very glad I can order it on Amazon. The process is simple, just open the box, heat it and enjoy Take a bite. It is likely that each box will serve one person. This is still true for the biggest eaters in my family. Making the trip is much cheaper than making the trip back, and I consider it a worthwhile endeavor.

Excellent taste and my favorite this time of year. I had to take a star off because I opened up the package to find that one of the boxes had already been The bag didn't appear to have been punctured upon inspection. Otherwise, there is nothing else to say. This is great to have! It was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back again.

There is one bag in each box, and all you have to do is put the bag in boiling water to heat it, and then when you're ready, cut open the bag and pour it over the Despite the fact that this dish has a pork flavor, I coat chicken breasts with pango bread crumbs and fry them to add to the dish. Over rice is great, but, if your family doesn't eat rice, you can serve it with egg noodles, too.
