Hello! Our Veggie options have great flavor and natural colors from the vegetables inside, but the taste is mild for many. If you didn't like the vegetables in our Veggie Spaghetti, you won't like them in the Rotini. We hope this information is useful.

This has a similar flavor to regular pasta. There isn't much of a difference in taste, though if you overcook it, it may become mushier. So eat it al dente and don't let it sit in water for longer than necessary, or make a big batch and then reheat (you can, but it'll be mushier than firm). I'm not sure if there's a significant health benefit, but it can't hurt. I prefer Barilla's Protein Plus pasta, which I prefer even more than their regular pasta - I compared the nutrition labels of this veggie pasta and a protein pasta of the same brand. Protein has a slight nutritional advantage over vegetables (though veggies may have a few more vitamins and minerals than protein, but only in small amounts). I believe you should give it a shot and see if it suits your/your family's preferences. If Barilla's Protein Plus was out of stock and this Barilla veggie pasta was on sale, I would buy it again. On every metric except price, either of those would easily outperform regular pasta.
I'm trying to eat healthier these days, and right now I'm loving that Amazon does all of my major grocery shopping for me, but there's one thing I miss about having healthy options like this veggie pasta. Keep up the good work; I'm looking forward to seeing more healthy options like these! I don't like having to chop spinach or kale into my pasta, so with this, I can just boil and heat the sauce and be done. If at all possible, the supergreens should be added.

Since I found out they were sold, I've been buying. Some members of my family claim that it tastes normal, while others claim that it tastes strange. They are devoured by all. Barilla is a good brand that I have purchased many of their products, and it is a regular item on my grocery list.
It's a healthy addition to the diet. Cooks up a storm. The flavor is fantastic. It doesn't overpower or take away from the dish in any way. For a change of pace, go with a bright color.
I'm not sure why the reviewer wants us to rate the flavor on a scale of one to ten stars. There is no flavor to it; it tastes like pasta.
