Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how long this product will last?

A product like this has a shelf life of two years after it is manufactured. At this point, the product has been in our possession for one month, since it's directly from the manufacturer. Pickled in oil since it is a pickled product. Ideally, you should store at room temperature or keep the oil level at least above the Giardiniera if you store at room temperature. When you refrigerate, you might find the oil thickens, but returns to the proper consistency once it is returned to room temperature. It is likely that after the two year period the quality of the Giardiniera will diminish. Here's what I can tell you to help you.

Can you tell me what kind of oil it is?

The soybean

In this recipe, what kind of vegetables are there?

Peppers, carrots, cauliflower, celery, and gherkins are all found in this salad.

What is the seal on the gallon jar?

In order to ship our Marconi gallons, we put a gripper seal around the lid and pack them in a poly bag

WELCOME TO ONE OF THE BEST GARDENES The best sandwiches I have ever tried are Marconi Hot Giardineres
5/5

bitter yet delicious flavor is amazingly addictive. I use it in salads, tacos, burritos, with Italian Beef, eggs, and anywhere else you need a little kick. Using the oil to cook chicken, eggs, and various vegetables is a good use for it.

It's hard for me to handle spicy food
5/5

am sensitive to spicy food, and I have gotten some fantastic meals out of them, largely because they aren't pickled and don't add a pickled taste. They are a great addition to anything you want to spice up, and you don't need much. The quality of the writing has impressed me. It's the oil that does the heavy lifting here since I did not refrigerate my jar and I live in hot and muggy Minnesota where things can go moldy in days. I can assure you that, even with small amounts, vegetables won't go bad as long as they are covered. If you do need to use them up, you will run out long before they go bad. Though you might want to purchase an old wooden strainer spoon before using it. Don't spend your money on this the oil gets everywhere if you try to lift it, and if you accidentally get some in your eyes, that will be very unwelcome. The experience is less than pleasant, believe me.

During the two weeks I used the gallon, it was gone
5/5

My last trip to Italy was back in 2011, after which I moved to the Arizona desert and had not eaten much italian food. The food was tasty, wasn't it? It definitely is! Is it okay if I overdid A resounding yes! And I sure wasn't happy during those two weeks when I left. Although probably not as good as the first time, (no pun intended) my only hesitation is that I'll most likely completely devour.

I highly recommend this product because of the excellent quality and the good price

What a great idea! A huge plastic container full of authentic giardiniera from Chicago. Stir it with oil before using, so that I can indulge in instant fun with only a good piece of This product does not require refrigeration because some preservatives are added, but it is not known to cause any negative side Despite the fact that there are many other brands from Chicago that are excellent, this one is an exceptional value. I recommend it!.

I like these a lot The city of Chicago misses you
5/5

Out of Chicago, Giardiniera is extremely difficult to find These can be found on the Marconi website. They are a name brand, so I felt comfortable ordering them. I was able to deliver quickly Though the jug has a dent in the plastic (plastic is not a food-safe material), the cap and seal are intact and intact. After I have opened, I save some to use on a daily basis in a smaller jar and refrigerate the rest.

It's time to stand ready for the beef
5/5

While I used to sell it in my Deli, I always bought it by the case, now that I'm retired, I keep it on hand to make an Italian or sausage sandwich whenever I'm traveling. It's a good product, I add a green olive to mine.

I have to have this on my beef and it pretty much goes with everything. It is so hard to find in the south. The product was perfect for what I was looking for and I will order again once we have eliminated this beast.

A great value for your money! I love your peppers these are what Portillo's use when they make their beef sandwiches. They are so good, thank you for making such a giant batch of these!.
