I was surprised to find all my order's items in perfect condition when I received them. Upon opening the first jar, I noticed that the suction cup did not "pop" like I expected. When I did, I heard a " noise. In the fear of being caught by surprise, I reassembled the lid so that I could poke the top part of it while it was closed. When I did so, the lid just spun around (in the close position), which means it was never completely shut In comparison with the other jar, I found the second to be much harder to open, and when I shut it, it was actually quite tight. In the end, I had to throw away the first jar because I didn't want to take a chance. Also, the product had a somewhat old smell to it, so that was a dead giveaway that it had gone bad. I'm removing a star from my rating because, had I not been so paranoid or if my husband had opened that jar, food poisoning might have resulted. Apart from that, for the jar that was not defective, the taste was so great and I loved eating it! Remember to check twice before purchasing if you are a buyer You should always double check the lids when you receive a product. You want them to be on snugly and not spin around like the lid is stripped. Although I had to throw one away, I still feel like I got my money's worth as a result of the purchase.
