Questions & Answers
Some of these orders are only delivered in a single box! Purchases should be avoided. Take a look at the positive feedback. I'd been duped as well.
The price is supposed to be for a case of rice with 12 boxes, but they started sending only one box around September 2020. It has to be a system glitch that caused the warehouse to send only one box. I've tried numerous times to get someone to look into the problem, but nothing ever seems to work. They always give me a full refund and let me keep the rice; I'm sure they'll get tired of giving out free boxes at some point.
I only got ONE box! There aren't 12 of them!
It's supposed to be a case with 12 boxes in it. We've been ordering it for a few years and it's always arrived on time. The exception is the last two orders. I've only gotten one box both times.

I'm ecstatic because I've been looking for it for quite some time. When I read the questions, I noticed that there were supposed to be 12 boxes in a 17-box order. So I placed a second order. There is a photo that depicts a 12 PACK! So when it came in today, it only gave me two instead of the usual 24. With the subscription discount, the total cost for two boxes was $27. Then there's the fact that the boxes have been tampered with. So, no, I'm not pleased with myself. These are going back to the sender. It was extremely disappointing to receive the item in this condition. For the past year and a half, I've been looking for some, but no one in my area sells them.
This was ordered because I couldn't find this flavor in the store, and it's my grandson's favorite. I only had one box when it arrived, despite the fact that there were supposed to be twelve. I would never pay that much for something that normally costs less than a dollar. In the supermarkets, the price is 00. I'm not sure if it was my fault or not, but I returned it and received a refund.
I purchased a 12-pack of stir-fried rice and a roni. It was the same fried rice I used to get, but with a new name and packaging. It's still a fantastic piece of work. I usually brown the mixture in a 10" frying (sauce) pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. 5 tbsp. butter, melted until a deep golden color is achieved. After that, I lower the temperature to medium-low. low, with only 1 3/4 cup of water heated in the microwave for 4 minutes After half of the water has been added, I quickly cover the pan so that it does not spatter all over the place. After the pan has settled, I add the remaining ingredients and stir in the flavor packet. Cover and cook for 12 minutes, then check to see if all of the liquid has evaporated. Put the lid back on and wait a minute or two if it needs more time. br>br>For added texture, I usually add about 2 tablespoons of raw, sliced almonds to the rice. br>br>Serve it immediately. If you chill it until it's cold, then fluff it with a fork and reheat it in the microwave right before dinner, it's actually quite good. br>br>Excellent information. br>br>.
I'm not sure who came up with the formula, but it's ridiculous. Just look at the list of ingredients: rice, wheat flour, and salt (by weight). The amount of salt in a two-ounce serving is incredible: 800mg. 35% of your total daily calorie consumption And who do you know who eats only two ounces of rice? To compensate, I pile on a lot of stuff on top of it. Scrambled eggs (similar to fried rice with egg bits); (Thai fried rice with pineapple); peas, green; I'm thinking leftover cubed meat might come in handy. This should be avoided if you have high blood pressure. I only have it now because of its long shelf life and the fact that I'm sheltering in place. Quaker should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a harmful product!.
For $17, I only got one single box of rice. It should have been a case if the number was 88. Because this isn't available in stores, I'd like the rest of the case. It is important for Whse to understand that this is a case, not a single item. Simply looking at the price will reveal this - $17. 88 /$0. Each box contains six ounces of 24 per ounce. 3oz = 11. For the price, we should have gotten 92 pieces, but we had to drive to the pick-up location, wasting gas for one stinkin box.
We buy a case of this rice every month or so because it is a family favorite. Until recently, we had no problems receiving the case. We've been receiving 1 box of rice rather than 1 case of rice recently.
To be completely honest, there are two things that I will purchase that are pre-owned. made free boxed that a) I don't mess up and b) I like this is one of them! Also, I believe the fact that I can no longer find this in the store says a lot. br>I thought they had discontinued it for a while, but it appears that it sells out as soon as it is put on the shelf, so I'll have to go back to Amazon and buy it! First and foremost, the price is so much better than buying it in the store, and two, this is such a quick and easy rice side dish that everyone loves, and I hate to sound like a commercial, but everyone loves it. br>I'll definitely be purchasing it again and again.
So I was overjoyed to discover this on Amazon for a reasonable price. It's delicious and simple to prepare. My mother, who spent many years in Japan, has told me that it isn't genuine. That's all right. So, how's that for a thrashing? I'll order more when this stock runs out.
