Questions & Answers

Is it possible for you to provide me with the ingredients for this recipe?

By mistake, I purchased a bottle (really I'd meant to buy butter vanilla, not butter flavor) and my ingredients are also different from those of others In a small bowl, combine the following ingredients water, propylene glycol, modified food starch, xanthan gum, citric acid, titanium dioxide, potassium sorbate, and I am not a fan of any of these ingredients. It seems a bit odd that an extract would contain trans fats?

What should I do if I use this with a cake mix? Do I bake it as instructed on the box, then add the emulsion? Can I use this in a cake mix? If so, how much?

This is equal to extract in quantity. Emulsions are used in place of extracts. Using the same example, you would use 1 tbsp emulsion to substitute for 1 tbsp extract in cake mix. Unlike other emulsions, this one doesn't bake out and keeps a lot of its flavor. My family and friends have positively commented on the aroma and taste of it. I hope you find this helpful.

What is the sugar content of this product?

There is sugar in this, as other reviewers have pointed out. Emulsion with LorAnn Princess Cake and Cookie has incredible flavor and simplicity. It contains no sugar. It comes in a variety of flavors, but has fewer calories.

Can you tell me if this has any calories?

Neither my taste nor the taste of the ice cream would have changed, so I either wouldn't notice the difference, or I wouldn't like it
5/5

The sugar cookies were finally made with this at Christmas. In response to the positive customer reviews that I had read, I ordered. However, I backed out during the Christmas season. It wouldn't make sense to mess with a recipe that the family has used My house always has one ingredient that I always use when I make cookies, but when I decided to bake them I realized I was out of it. We love it! In the recipe my vanilla powder wasn't substituted for any other ingredient, just used as I would It turns out that the cookies were absolutely delicious! The cookies were still my own, but had an even stronger taste of intensified flavors. There were comments about the flavor from almost everyone. The next time I order, I'll be sure to give you my personal opinion. A change has been made to the Ole' family recipe!.

This is a great product! I am so happy
5/5

The reviews for this emulsion from Mel's Kitchen Cafe and Orson Gygi (thumbs up) both convinced me to try it, so I ordered one. There is definitely some hype surrounding this one! My cookies have been transformed by adding this (awesome-- It just has a nuttier and stronger buttery/vanilla flavor, without being overwhelming) in both sugar and chocolate chip varieties. The frosting industry uses it. I like it. How about muffins? In fact, yes. It is no doubt that I will use my homemade vanilla extract far less often moving forward. It was explained to me by Orson Gygi that you lose some vanilla flavor while baking since the alcohol cooks off from the pure vanilla extract. You should buy some, no matter what the science says. We're confident that you won't be disappointed.

This flavor adds a rich vanilla note
5/5

Initially I was excited to try this product however, I had to admit that I was disappointed when I took my first whiff after receiving it. My initial reaction was that it smelled more like butterscotch, which isn't what I wanted. Thanks to my recent use of it in chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, and homemade ice cream, I am pleased with the outcome. product is rich and tasty, and adding it to a recipe makes it taste even better. I ordered a second bottle so that I wouldn't run out. All bakers should have a kit like this.

Buying from this distributor is a waste of money
3/5

Do not accept this spoiled product. It would be best to purchase it directly from the company's website. I baked two things today with this baking emulsion as I normally do, and both had a strange smell and taste that I have never experienced This new bottle was the only thing that differed from my old one, since it had run Amazon will not be my source for such things in the future. A very disappointing experience.

It has a great flavor
5/5

As one of my trusted brands, LorAnn didn't let me down with this flavoring. Cakes, sweet rolls, fruit breads, and frosting are all excellent uses for the product. Butter and vanilla do not stand out very much. Adding it in doesn't make a big difference alone, but it somehow enhances that bakery flavor that people crave. It doesn't stand out enough that you could complain about it missing, but when you add it in, it just seems to improve everything. It doesn't matter if I make the cinnamon roll recipe with or without cream cheese, but the one with is always admired more. When I use this most of the time, I still use vanilla - except when I make This is so good that I plan to buy another bottle and try the other flavors as well.

I love the buttery taste of this! It's disappointing to find that the butter taste is immensely strong with this product
3/5

The program is so difficult to use that I cannot use it at all. It takes over the whole flavor and is like eating a chunk of butter. I have tried it in a variety of cookies, even the smallest amount. To ensure that it does not go to waste, I may try something else like yams or sweet potatoes.

I really enjoy the taste of it

This can be used in place of vanilla extract. I discovered this tip through an icing recipe. It adds wonderful flavor to buttercream and cream cheese icing.
