It comes in a 1 oz bottle and costs $7. 89 I'm not sure why they bother to advertise. It's not 84/oz, as you can see! I can tell you that the price is $7 on LorAnn's website. You are not being ripped off because you are paying 95 for the same 1oz bottle! I use 1 dram to flavor a batch of fondant, and an ounce is 16 drams, so I think it's a great value for the amount of use I get out of 1 bottle.
Chocolates, candies, and coatings would benefit from the addition of peppermint oil. For the best results, use the Peppermint Bakery Emulsion in baking applications such as cookies and cakes.
Yes. It's all very obvious.
You can make lipgloss with this oil because it is "food grade." Because it's so concentrated, use it sparingly.

My daughter suffers from a cramped, sick stomach, so she takes a few drops before bed every night. It has made a significant difference! Because I have a lot of dietary issues that cause me to have too much acid, I take it every night, along with apple cider vinegar, and it almost always keeps me from waking up with stomach pain and indigestion. I've tried a few peppermint oils, and some of them smell and taste a little "woody," if that makes sense, but this one smells and tastes exactly like peppermint oil should, and I want to know it's made to be taken orally for as much as we need it. During a migraine, I like to rub some of it on my head and neck, along with a carrier, because nothing but time can relieve the pain. But, for reasons I don't understand, it feels good. When I have migraines, I get nauseated, and the oil helps! Personally, I buy a large, less expensive bottle of peppermint oil for my hair because I'm cheap and don't want to "waste" the good stuff, but it's worth buying for all internal use, and it's a lot less expensive than other food-grade oils on the market! It is something I strongly suggest.
This is fantastic. It's super concentrated, and I could smell it as soon as I opened the envelope it came in (if you have people who are sensitive to smells, keep the cap on tight). I'm thrilled because I only needed three drops to flavor my entire batch of ice cream instead of a teaspoon of extract; I'll buy it again, but not for a long time because you only need so little! ) I'm looking forward to making all kinds of things with it now, including candy (peppermint bark) and peppermint stick ice cream, which I would never have thought of before trying it. br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that if you want something that tastes like spearmint, you should try spearmint oil instead. In contrast to other extracts I've tried, you can actually taste the difference here. It has a more peppery, sharper taste. such as peppermint! Also, because it's potent, add a little at a time and taste as you go because you can always add more but you can't take it out once it's in (I recommend using a dropper or a mini measuring spoon) and keep it away from your nose if you want to sniff the bottle. Would recommend to friends and family members and.
In the future, I'll be purchasing this delectable oil for use in other baked goods!.
It's not something I use in the kitchen. I keep a small washcloth in my car and dab some on it to enjoy the scent. It has a calming effect on me while also smelling wonderful in the car. Passengers enjoy the comforting scent as well when riding with me. She is frequently complimented.
Open top. If there was another way to measure the liquid than pouring it into teaspoons, I'd give this a positive review. I'll have to spend money on a new bottle with a dropper and transfer the contents to it. This entails a greater financial investment on my part. Adding a plastic drip cap to the bottle would have been inexpensive. My first attempt failed miserably because I couldn't control the amount of liquid that poured from the bottle. It's extra-special because it's a one-of-a-kind Does it taste like mint? It overdosed my recipe by a factor of ten. Yes. That's correct. Is it a formidable weapon? Yes. Yes, that is correct.
It's very refreshing when I add a tiny drop of peppermint oil to a pint of water. I also put a couple of drops on cotton balls and placed them in my kitchen cabinets - The scent lingers for weeks.
The positive feedback is accurate. It's authentic, and it reminds me of my mother's peppermint sticks. Use a toothpick or replace the cover with one that has a dropper attached if the amount will last a long time. It would be ideal if the company included a dropper in the cover. You will enjoy it if you give it a try.
Cookies that are both chocolate and mint! This was purchased so that I could make GSC "Thin Mints" at home. I couldn't be more pleased! The strength and flavor of this mint are incredible! It's not necessary to use a lot! In the chocolate cookie dough, I used 1/4 teaspoon of it. In the dark chocolate cookie coating, use 1/4 teaspoon. I must confess that I preferred my cookies because I had complete control over the ingredients! They turned out beautifully, and I'm looking forward to making them again! If you like peppermint or mint in general, this is the product for you! Start with a small amount and adjust to your taste.
