It is true. There is a pleasant cherry (cheery) scent to it.

There are no Emulsions that can be used in baking. They are water based. Amazon is a great source for LorAnn® Super Strength Flavors that are used for making lollipops and hard candy.
LorAnn Cherry Bakery's emulsion has not been used in brownies, but I used it in some candy that I made during the holiday season. My candy turned out wonderful when I doubled the amount of another flavor called for in the recipe. Here's hoping this helps you a little with the brownies, they sound delicious!

My mouth was watering as I smelled it, and I wanted to use it right away. In my opinion, it had an awful after taste and a fake cherry flavor after using it in a recipe. I was astonished by how many people rated this product highly. My favorite natural flavors are those that taste good and are good for baking. We're not talking about them here!.
