Questions & Answers
Are all of the ingredients coconut, or is there some other type of coconut?
Coconut is the only ingredient in the product. The rest of the ingredients are absent.
Do you mean to say that this coconut is shredded coconut that has become A cake I dipped in icing will need it to be coated with it. Is it powder sugar or is it fine ?
As Matt points out, it's not quite like shredded coconut, at least not the flaked shredded coconut you buy at the grocery store (i.e. A brand by Angel). Despite its name, the powder isn't fine, it's more like tiny minuscule particles. Bits of coconut no larger than 1 mm.
Is this a good ingredient to put in ?
You certainly could, but I'm not sure how the smoothie would taste. It might give the mixture a powdery, dry texture because of how dry and arid it is.
Is it possible to dissolve this coconut powder in a protein shake?
As it is a very fine ground coconut, I do not think it would dissolve, and it would absorb some liquid, causing it to swell up as most dehydrated products do. It stays in coconut consistency when I use it to make candy like mounds bars.

It does not have a date code. The first thing I would like to point out about this product is that Not only is this coconut not powered, but it is also not flaked at all. There's a difference between the two. Grains of parmesan are coarse and similar in texture to the one you find in dry grated My favorite way to make this is to cover coconut cream with chocolate. second, bigger problem is that there is no Best By date nor a manufacturing date to indicate the age of the product. Desiccated coconut delivered in retail packaging unopened has a shelf life of 12 months once it is opened, it has a shelf life of 6 months. If you keep it inside of an airtight container in the freezer, you can extend the shelf life quite a bit. You cannot tell how old this product is after you buy it, because there is no way to do so. Depending on how old it is, it could be a couple of weeks old or much, much older and past its shelf life. You should keep these facts in mind when purchasing this brand. I am surprised that Amazon has given this brand the "Choice" award due to the reasons listed above.

It smelled and tasted like curry tea with hints of chai
Whole Foods is where I get my shredded unsweetened coconut from when I make Rather than make a special trip to the mall this year, I decided to order this. In the beginning, I noticed that it was lighter than a t-shirt from Whole Foods, which is organic and unbleached, which I assume is from Whole Foods. As well as being finer than WF's, it was also shredded. Not so big a I thought that was the case. When baking day arrived, I immediately noticed a faint aroma of curry when I opened the bag. My taste buds detected both the coconut itself and a hint of curry, despite the freshness of the coconut. Even so, I hoped that it would get better once it was transformed The opposite is true! There were hints of curry in my macaroons, which tasted like a sweet and creamy coconut chai tea concoction. allowed my husband to eat one of the sandwiches, and after taking a bite, he asked me why it reminded him of Indian food. It was an excellent lesson and I plan to visit Whole Foods now.

This is a chewy unsweetened coconut that's moist, but not sweet
It is good to find shredded unsweetened coconut in this finely grated form. Furthermore, the price is so reasonable. It is not the same coconut that you find in supermarkets that is shredded and sweetened. Coconut flour has powdered grains rather than finely separated ones like the coconut here. It is very suitable for baking due to its fine texture. Macaroons are made with chopped almonds, whipped egg whites, honey, and a little food coloring. coconut shred holds the cookie together very well, making it easy to bake.

Here is an excellent coconut for using in Anzac biscuits, lest we forget
other positive reviews I read here, I was looking for desiccated coconut to make Anzac biscuits. Thank you to everybody else who left a positive review. I found those reviews to be very helpful in my decision-making Rather than being powered, I would classify this product as finely shredded. There is no sugar in it, which is great. I did not have the same taste of Anzac biscuits in Australia, but I found them better than those I had in Australia. I liked that they weren't cloyingly sweet, but rather subtly There was a great balance between the two. This is a delicious chewy treat! It was a surprise to me that a 2 pound bag would be so much, but the rate at which I'm now making Anzac biscuits will make it disappear The cookies have now become my favorite. I compare Anzac biscuits to the samoa coconut chews found in girl scout cookies, but with an adult taste. Similar texture and flavor, but much less sugary sweet and probably without chocolate drizzles (although you can definitely include that in your.

It means powder when it says fine shredded
This stuff is just like powder, so I thought I would be able to spread it out on a cookie sheet and toast it in the oven. For those who don't mind the flavor of coconut and need a coconut-flavored product, this is a good buy. If you care about the presentation, skip this item. To make things easier for our diabetic friends, I was looking for something without sugar. This product came to me as a result of that.

I rate it 0 out of 5 stars I have opened the package
My kitchen was a jungle of coconut shreds after receiving this product, which was ripped open upon arrival. Since the product had been opened, it was obviously no longer a safe food product. So, not only was it not edible, but it was also tainted. Items that are refundable or returnable are available. Save yourself from spending money on a product that will not work and will make a big mess like I did by buying this before buying a similar product.

I would advise you against buying it unless you are sure of what you are doing It is near the powdered cocoa powder, not the small pieces of that are shredded
No recipe online for powdered milk I even called the company and they have no idea what to do with it. I tried shredding it and making a powder with my blender but it would not work. It cannot be shredded and powdered at the same time.

The packaging does not reseal, but the coconut flakes are very fine and of a good quality
I was looking for coconut flakes, but this was more affordable, so I tried it. I use it in recipes and it works well. It just seems to me that I use just a little bit more than the recipe calls for just to bring out the flavor I like it a lot-- The quality seems to be good. Package was not great and there was no way to reseal it. I started using a chip for my computer The clip then decided to put a canister on to keep the.
