It is a question I am not able to answer. They're so tasty, I ate them so quickly, I didn't get a chance to check if they could last too long.
Hi there, for marrons glacés I believe its recipe is super simple, just to bake them with only marrons (= chestnuts) and sugar. Simple syrup prepared by boiling sugar and water. It is common for us to not add another ingredient to this traditional French holiday Please let me know if you need any more help! It is RN
Sugar is used to make them, which allows them a long shelf life even when opened, several weeks at least but I don't keep them that long in my home.
