To reduce the amount of salt in one bag, we double the recipe. We then add fresh garlic, basil, and onions that we have grown ourselves. All of the jars are placed in the freezer, which ensures that we will have enough food for the following growing season. This sauce is so popular with the family and kids that they refuse to eat Ragu or Prego sauces any longer. You will never go back to store-bought spaghetti sauce once you've tried homemade. If you're planning on canning your sauce, make sure to follow the instructions on the sauce mix exactly.

EVER! The first round of this product was delivered to me due to an Amazon error. They sent the pasta sauce instead of the salsa (which is delicious). Naturally, Amazon rectified the situation and advised me to keep the pasta sauce. I didn't like it, but I figured, what the hell, I'll give it a shot. This stuff is the bomb, let me tell you. I don't add the sugar according to the directions because I don't care for sweet sauces. You could start a restaurant with this stuff if you add some hamburger meat.
Wages Pasta Sauce is an excellent addition to my kitchen. sauce that has been prepared For several years, I've relied on Mrs. Wages Pasta Sauce. My daughter suggested it (along with the salsa sauce). Because it sells out so quickly in stores, I decided to order mine from Amazon this year. The sauce will be delicious (as usual) because my tomatoes are so beautiful this year. I've even used it with very large tomato cans and it's delicious. That, as well as my residence- The pasta sauce made with fresh herbs is absolutely delicious. I'm glad my daughter informed me. Umm. I asked for a spicy salsa, but instead got a chili base. It took a long time to get here as well. Even though it was econo shipping, it sat for 6 days an hour away from home. I'm looking forward to trying to straighten things out now that the tomatoes are ripe. I'm just going to use the chili sauce as a starting point.
We've been canning and making salsa for several years, and this is by far the best. It's great with chips, in chili, mixed with cheese, and so on. When I first ordered, they sent me the medium instead of the mild, but Amazon made it right and sent me the mild, telling me to donate the medium or give it to a friend, which I thought was great of Amazon. I highly recommend this product, and thank you Amazon.
