They don't have a farm-raised flavor to them. All of the others on the market taste like mildew to me, so I discard them. These are something I've been eating for quite some time.
We buy them in bulk and keep them in the pantry for those special occasions. The smoked flavor is very nice.
In my house, smoked oysters are a staple. They're quite large, and they're made with olive oil, which is a big plus in my book. They're an excellent source of protein. Oysters with capers are a favorite of mine. It's delicious!.
There are a lot of them for a lot of money. I, on the other hand, take a couple for myself. I'm going to toss it in my salad. There is nothing comparable to omega-3 fatty acids.
These are gorgeous, but they're a little pricey for me. If you can find these for a lower price somewhere else, I would buy them there. These may be available at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, according to my sources.
The product is of excellent quality.
A gourmet supper can be made with a can of tuna and saltine crackers, and the temptation is to eat one more. I need to be more self-controllable or I'll go bankrupt.
These were a huge hit with both my husband and sister.
