Yamamoto's Organic Concentrated Bonsai Fertilizer - Japan's Favorite - 8oz - No Harsh Chemicals

The scent is pleasant and sweet. It was time to bring my little tree back out on my porch after it had gone dormant for the winter. With slightly yellowing needles, it appeared to be a little under the weather. As it is all organic, I chose Yamamoto's because I believe it's better for Bonsai than using chemical fertilizers on them. I was a little concerned about it smelling like fish, since fish is one of the ingredients, but I wasn't too concerned because I was outside. I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the product. It didn't have a fishy odor to it at all. It has a mildly sweet aroma that is not at all unpleasant. I watered it down after mixing it according to the instructions. The tree turned completely dark green about 4 days later, and I believe it is now growing. This was not what I was expecting. I suppose the Japanese are more knowledgeable about bonsai than we will ever be. I'm a lifelong customer. br>br>On a related note, the front of the bottle is in Japanese, but one of the side panels has good directions in English. This is the only fertilizer I'll ever use on my tiny tree!.

It appeals to me because it is chemical-free and all-natural! I was a little worried because it's made with fish and rice mash, but you wouldn't know! This is a product that I will purchase again!.

They should provide more explanation in English or Spanish. Moreover, they export their products outside of their home country of China.
