Generally, I recommend that you order them no more than 3 or 4 days in advance since they arrive fully bloomed very quickly. Though I would say they are more of a violet color and the picture shows a dark cobalt blue.
I received the ones with a more purple center with a pretty blue filling. In that case, I would contact the seller and let them know that you want blue ones.
Flower knowledge is not something I have much of. If you have a question, it is probably best to ask the vendor.
As shown in the picture, the flowers that I ordered and had delivered back in May of this year looked very much as they do in the photo. My daughter's prom night's theme was flowers, so I purchased flowers specifically for fixing a boutonniere, corsage, and other accessories for her It was hard to find flowers to arrange with the stalks. Flowers arrived the day before the event and some of the stalks lasted for about one week when kept in water.

They were delivered to my house on Friday, even though I ordered them on a Tuesday. It was so beautiful to see them. Here is what our wedding cake looked like. But these aren't our real flowers. It should have been checked that I had ordered these orchids from a different seller last year So I am liable for that. The delivery had encountered some damage which resulted in several buds falling off. There were so many of them intertwined that it was nearly impossible to separate them without losing any more buds or flowers. At least one petal on most of the flowers was bent. Wilting had already begun for many of them- It should lose moisture even in the center, which should be the last place to do so. My first job was to unpack the items and follow the instructions before leaving the house for the office. After returning 5 hours later, many of them were even droopier than before. There was so much frustration in me. As I recall, last year, they were in much better condition and lasted for several days before I collected them and preserved them in silica. The dried flowers do not result in a complete loss since I use them in dried art. As a whole, I preserved the four strongest blossoms. Those that needed shaping had to be carefully molded or just dried until they could be manipulated. We worked on preserving flowers for almost three hours, but that is ridiculously long. Several of the remaining buds have not bloomed yet. I am holding my breath in hope they will bloom soon.
My granddaughter was getting married and I bought these for her. I was so pleased with them. In addition to the center pieces, the bouquet and the cake were made from them. I was concerned because the package would arrive by UPS and it would be hot. During the summer in Texas, temperatures were extremely high. It was hot when it arrived. We opened it right away, and the flowers were still in great condition. A fresh supply of water was added. It was so amazing and so shocking to me, but I was overwhelmed with gratitude that they did this because this was not what I had expected or wanted. The gesture was truly amazing, and some of the flowers are still very much alive to this day! I used them as centerpieces and they looked great.
This is breathtaking. During the process of keeping the stems fresh, a water tube was enclosed around the bottom of the stem. The packaging was extremely careful. The item is not available for two-day delivery. If you need the item as soon as possible, you should purchase another item. In an old order, the delivery date was 3 days after order placement the delivery date was later changed to 8 days. When I was leaving, I turned around. In the end, it was day four when the orchids arrived. It is all good now! Since they arrived 30 minutes ago, we haven't yet been able to determine whether the " longevity" is effective. For that one, I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
The flowers in my bouquet were stunning and looked perfect. When I took the heads off, I put white roses in their place, so the colors contrasted immensely.
