Refrigerate until the expiration date on the package. Although, because you have seven days to drink after opening, we recommend opening before the best before date. *SM
"Unsweetened" is written in a dark pink banner across the top of the carton's label.
I usually don't purchase this brand, but I forgot when I went to Kroger. I've only ever tried unsweetened almond milk once, and I didn't care for it. As a result, there may be a distinction between the original and the modified version.

I was at a loss after giving up cow milk six years ago; I had no idea what other milks I might enjoy, and even though the mention of soy was a no-no for me, there were still so many other options. I finally found this one after a lot of trial and error. It tastes great. I prefer the original version to the non-original version. Sweetened, it's a little bland, and the vanilla is overpowering - The original is perfect, and I use it for everything I've ever used and consumed cow milk for. It also has a 2-year shelf life. 3 months! One thing to keep in mind is that it's only this good if purchased in the large plastic container. I tried it in the cardboard container, and it tasted like cardboard, didn't last as long, didn't stay as cold, and didn't taste the same overall. However, I strongly advise you to read this one - The almond flavor is so subtle that I don't always realize it's almond milk.
I've bought this brand in the 64oz size several times, and this jug was refrigerated, well within a year of expiration, but quickly went sour. I'd never seen anything like it before, so I had to pour out 3/4 of the jug. The flavor and viscosity, on the other hand, are usually excellent. That is not the case this time.
It tastes great and comes in a big gallon. Milk gives me headaches and fatigue, soy stuffs up my nose and causes minor inflammation, and oat makes me nauseated, so I can't have milk, soy, or oat.
I'm grateful for Amazon Fresh because I adore this original Almond Breeze flavor (which, in my opinion, tastes better than the Silk brand) and it's only available in the 96 oz size on Amazon.
It's not quite as creamy as the coffee creamer I used to use, but it'll do. It's great that it's free of any potentially harmful ingredients. I also enjoy it on my breakfast cereal.
Like other almond milk brands, it has a pleasant flavor and is not overly sweet. This is a no-brainer due to the low price on Amazon Fresh.
During the pandemic, I planned to make a lot of Starbucks drinks using original Starbucks ingredients, such as this Starbucks green tea matcha.
The almond flavor is consistently good, and it isn't as runny as Silk Almond.
