They are sold by Jelly Belly, and I found them on Amazon and ordered two bags of Very Cherry. They came in fast, fresh, sealed, and delicious condition. This is the real thing, and I am totally satisfied with it!.
It was not uncommon for single flavor purchases to be repackaged and to be hit or miss in terms of freshness until recently. Jelly Belly has been supplying me with fresh, factory-sealed bags of beans for the past several months.
I was left with a bad taste in my mouth following the experience. There were no brands of Jelly Belly bags that were the normal heavy weight plastic. Both bags were different, flimsier materials than the usual. I am throwing away both bags since there are many pinhole leaks making air enter and leave the bags. The flavor was off in both as well, so I will toss both. Spending money on that is a waste. If they are counterfeit or they are from discount/outlet stores leftovers that they bagged up and sold for direct from manufacturer prices, they may be counterfeit.
