That is simply unethical business practice. It's a classic case of bait and switch! It appears that you responded to an advertisement for a factory sealed 2 pound bag of Jelly Belly Assorted Flavors, which you clearly saw. You did not place an order for Jelly Belly beans in bulk. You received a bag of regular jelly beans in the mail. They maximize their profits while you are left with a bag of inferior candy that you cannot consume! Please contact Amazon as soon as possible to request a refund. In California, I work as a Jelly Belly retailer. I sell on Amazon and ship to any location within the organization. BUYING CANDY IN BATCHES IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! I only sell candy that has been factory sealed and packaged in case quantities. How do you know who's hands were in that candy, and what, if any, sanitary conditions were present? If the Amazon ad is unclear or incomplete. Purchase is not recommended. If they're selling something for a low price, don't buy it! They can't get Jelly Belly beans for that low of a price, like below wholesale, so I have a re-order. I have a Jelly Belly seller's license, but I can't sell them at that price. "Caveat Emptor" is a phrase that means "beware of what you're getting yourself into." Be careful who you buy from. br>Newsflash - I looked up the seller's information and discovered that they've been selling on Amazon since 2007 and sell thousands of candy and toy items, as well as general mercantile items. Perhaps you received the wrong order as a result of an honest mistake. They do state that if you are not satisfied, you should email them and they will correct the problem. I'd start by contacting them and seeing what they have to say. Remember that if you're not satisfied, Amazon will refund your money. I can't imagine this company doing anything to intentionally sabotage their impressive numbers. This was, I believe, an unintentional result. It's a joyful outburst: ) The majority of the Jelly Bellys I've purchased have been stale - With Jelly Bellys, that's a no-no. Nothing is more irritating than a hard Jelly Belly. br>br>These just arrived, and despite the fact that there is a small slit near the bottom of the bag, I ate some of them and they are NOT stale - As a result, it had to have occurred during the packing process. It was not "handed directly to a resident," despite the fact that tracking claims it was. My husband discovered the package at the foot of our front porch steps, directly in the path where rain would pour off the roof if it were raining. I'm serious. Flavors. a wide variety of tastes This is delicious. Also, the bag is still in the works. I only need a small handful every now and then to make the world a better place. I'm serious. Packaging is good, the contents are fresh, and the flavors are diverse. There are only a few that I don't care for, but I'm not complaining. Fill a bag with goodies to put in your goodie jars or to take to work and hand out to your coworkers. Enjoy!.
If you enjoy a variety of JB flavors, the 2 pound bag is the best value. On the other hand, this bag contains a variety of (non-favorite) flavors. Yes, out of the bag's 49 flavors, 'MORE' than half aren't even close to being top flavors. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice that this 2 pound bag has an unfair 3 to 1 ratio of non-popular JB flavors. Bottom Line: The JB candy company benefits greatly from the ratio.

These contain carrageenan, so if you're allergic or sensitive to it, stay away. Carrageenan was once only found in foods like ice cream and almond milk, but it appears that it is now also found in candy. Shame.
When you consider that these Jelly Bellies usually cost $9, this is a great deal. Where I shop, 50 cents per pound (or more) is the going rate. I adore how the bag stands on its own (it's genius). The flavors are fantastic as well. It's difficult to limit yourself to only a few. br>br>I can't stand red hots (I guess they're called "sizzling cinnamon") or coffee, so I spit them out and toss them in the compost, where the ants will no doubt enjoy the sugar rush.
Because I live in the South, I knew ordering these in May would be a gamble. Would they be a melted hunk of candy when they arrived? It was a toss-up whether they'd be fine or not. br>To my delight, they arrived mostly undamaged; there were a few small clumps of beans near the bottom of the bag, but they were easily broken apart (and devoured). The flavor mixture was amazing, with no too much of one kind of bean as has happen on previous purchases (who needs a mix of 60% coffee and watermelon and banan Ick. )br>Of course, the flavor ratio in each bag is never known, which is a little disappointing. I wish it was more precise and consistent throughout the entire brand; it would make me a much happier camper! If you're debating whether or not to buy these, consider the following: There may be too much of one flavor you don't like, but there is a variety of flavors and they are very distinct, which is lovely. Always consider the temperature they will be traveling in, as they (like almost all candies) can and will melt. We purchased ten 2-pound bags of belly flops (mistakes included). Weight: 20 lbs We only ate about 4 pounds, so we took the remaining 14 home with us. Thanks to that airline's free bag check, I've been buying the good ones or the flop ones on a regular basis since then. It's just nice to have a small handful every now and then. They're a little more expensive than a generic brand, but they taste better than any I've tried, and I've tried a lot. These aren't the flops; they include all of the good flavors, a total of 49. I'm not sure if I'm addicted yet, but I adore my jelly bellies.
