What the hell is going on? COVID is a non-profit organization that promotes health and wellness. The number 19 has prompted a slew of criminals to raise their prices across the board. I can't think of another reason for this product's price increase.
Candy was sent via mail, so I'm guessing that's why it melted and stuck to the wrapper and cardboard tray that held the candy bars. Other suppliers use FedEx or UPS, which are more climate controlled, and most use cooling bags in the summer.
I've purchased a number of candy items from Amazon. One of my most recent purchases was this item. Everything was in excellent condition when it arrived, as it had been previously, fresh and fantastic. We love almond joy and know what it should taste like, but this wasn't it. The chocolate appeared to have been refrigerated or frozen. They have lighter spots on them due to some type of moisture. They melted in transit due to the warmer weather, and the spots should have faded by now. A replacement was graciously provided by Amazon. This wasn't the freshest product they had.
We ordered these Almond Joy and Mounds candy bars in bulk, and upon opening some of the individual bars, we discovered that the majority were old, stale, and borderline rotten, with discoloration on the surface and a foul taste; these are clearly NOT fresh products.
Almond Joys are what they're called. I ordered a candy bar in the following flavor: If you're a fan of these, you'll know what I'm talking about. I had no idea how many people were in here until I looked around. When you see 36 of them, it's a lot, and I have so many that I'll never be able to eat them all, so I'm trying to figure out who I can give them to. It's not such a bad thing when the only "disappointment" is that you get a lot more than you expected.
Do you ever open a candy bar and immediately recognize that it has been melted, hardened, and left in the heat, only to be re-melted and hardened again? It's chilled, and it's white, as if it's old? Sure, if you order these, you'll be able to tell when you take a look at them.
There's nothing more to say than the flavor is accurate (1 year validity - so it's fine)br>the box inside the amazon package was opened, but the count is still correct. br>For such a family pack, it's a little pricey. It might have been less costly.
So, for Halloween, I went out and bought a few boxes on the spur of the moment. "Thank you, COVID. We ate the majority of them. " "br>It's a foregone conclusion. If you like coconut and chocolate with a hint of almond, this is the dish for you. After that, of course. br>All I ask is that they make a dark chocolate version.
