I'm not sure if you're a vegan or a vegetarian. Organic italian citrus fruits, milk, egg yolks, flour, and sugar are all used in this cake. There are no nuts and no preservatives on the package. Some vegetarians consume dairy, while others do not, so I'm not sure if this answer is helpful.
Wheat flour appears first on the list of ingredients.

Update: This year, I bought three of these Madi panettones during the month of December, and after New Year's, I'll just have to swim faster. Worth it! br>br>This is the best Panettone I've had in a long time; I bought it at the beginning of December, and it was moist and delicious, lasting a weekend. It's fabricated in Northern Italy, which suits me fine. Brazil produces the panettone that is sold in supermarkets. If I can afford it, I'd like to get this puppy from the source. I'm tempted to buy another one because the price was great and delivery was quick, but it'll be bathing suit season again before we know it.
Madi Gran Panettone is without a doubt my favorite panettone brand. Every year, I eagerly anticipate its arrival in grocery stores. This time, instead of going to the store, I thought I'd go to Amazon and purchase some out-of-season items. When it arrived, I noticed that it was only 3 days away from expiration. I tried a slice and found it to be stale and unworthy of consumption. I simply discarded the rest. So, when Madi Panettone is in season, give it a try. However, be wary of vendors who stock up in November and then sell their leftovers six months later.
" A few years ago, a late dear friend from Chicago introduced me to panettone, and I'm thrilled I can now get it through Amazon - and arrange for gifts to be delivered to family and friends (There will be no wrapping, no extra boxes to find, and no waiting in lines at the post office or FedEx. ) )br>br>Panettone is a cake that is more like a sweet bread than a cake. It's delicious toasted for breakfast, with afternoon coffee, or as a midnight snack with friends. Of course, butter is required, and you can add jam if desired; one creative friend said it made fantastic french toast. There are no nuts and no heavy odd-looking ingredients. With panettone, there are no sticky fingers after tasting the batter. With a hint of candied lemon and orange pieces and golden raisens, this delightful treat comes together beautifully. Order two or three for yourself and one for that unexpected guest who brought you something during the holiday season. It isn't just for Christmas, though that is when it is traditionally served.
I first tried it about seven or eight years ago, and I've been buying it every year since. I didn't realize it was only available during the holidays, so now is the time for me to get some! This cake is absolutely beautiful and tasty. It has a fantastic taste. It has a divine texture. CakeBread is the name I've given it. The flavor and texture of the Bread/Cake, as well as the perfection of the fruit they use in it, are why I adore this brand (MADI) Gran Panettone so much. Other brands contain fruit, but each little piece appears to be a little grainy, and the raisins aren't as soft. MADI-like freshness br>However, it is the dried candied orange peel pieces that, in my opinion, make this CakeBread THE BEST. The candied fruit pieces, as well as the raisins, are both fresh and flavorful. MADI IS THE BEST ITALIAN PANETTONE, and I don't say that lightly. It appeals to me.
22/ea.
Extremely flavorful and moist! I thought it had the perfect amount of fruit (although not as much as any Panettiere brand)br>However, each bite of orange peel, citron, and plump raisins leaves you wanting more, sometimes a second slice. I'm on my third slice right now.
I've always loved panettone, ever since I first smelled and tasted one. br>br>I recall receiving it as a Christmas present from a sales representative, along with a case of Sam Adams beer. I'd never seen a panettone before, despite the fact that I'd lived and worked in Rhode Island for 15 years, and even more so in Massachusetts (anywhere from Franklin to Norwood). So there you have it - My stepmother, on the other hand, is bursting at the seams. For crying out loud, a red-blooded Italian (Paliotti) who prepared traditional Italian feasts for holidays, but no panettone. Anyway, after that rep's gift, every year for the Christmas holiday season, I'd buy myself a panettone. I always ended up buying a Bauducco for some reason. It wasn't that I was looking for that particular brand; it was just that I happened to be at the grocery store at the time, and I couldn't recall what brand the rep had purchased, and I had no idea if there was another brand; Bauducco was the only brand I'd ever seen. I'm back in Rhode Island - this time for good. What makes you think that? Is it like when you see 5 minutes of a TV show you never watch, or a film you have no interest in seeing, and years later you're at someone's house and the TV is on, or you're channel surfing, and there it is, that exact same 5 minutes of that TV show or movie, and you start thinking you're in the Twilight Zone? Maybe. br>br>Once again, I have no idea what brand I first tried, but the ones I've bought since haven't been quite as good. I assumed it was just a case of me being overly-sensitive. I have fond false memories of a new thing being more special than it was in reality. br>br>So, a few days before Christmas last year, my wife and I were shopping in Market Basket, and I noticed the mini Bauducco panettones piled high in a bin, and they even had chocolate ones! So, because I enjoy chocolate, I purchased one - Who could possibly lose when it was only $1? It was actually quite enjoyable. And I was hoping to get a few more on my next trip, but they were all gone! Dang it. br>br>I went a-searching on the internet. shopping as well as Look, there's a new one on the block! Panettone comes in a variety of brands. As I begin to read the reviews, I come across Madi. with a large number of 4-star hotels Reviewers gave it five stars. It cost twice as much as the same-sized Bauducco, but, as the young man at the end of Harry Callahan's 45 Magnum said, "I gots to know. " br>Now I'm aware of it. There is simply no comparison. br>br> Without disparaging Bauducco's product, I'll simply point out that the fruit in Madi's panettone is not only multi-colored but also multi-textured. colored, but evenly distributed throughout the body of the cake There are also a variety of dried fruits and candied fruit rinds to choose from. I'm giddy from the smell, and the texture is dreamy. br>I imitate Cookie Monster's eating sounds! br>This is fantastic. br>I had to cut it in half and freeze half of it because my wife doesn't like dried fruit and I'm afraid I'll gain weight if I eat it all right away. a bigger stomach br>br>I already know who I'll be ordering panettone from next year!.
I had previously purchased panettone and found it to be essentially inedible, so I was hesitant to try another, but I'd seen them on cooking shows over the holidays and thought I'd treat myself to a high-end version. Version of high quality. This was absolutely delicious! It's moist and fragrant, and it's very simple to eat. In your mouth, it dissolves. It would be great if it was available throughout the year. round.
