I ordered this twice, and the first time it arrived in a plastic bag with no bubble wrap. I was taken aback by the fact that the product was only packaged in an envelope. It appeared that the manufacturer, too, was unconcerned about bending protection. It had been creased and bent in several places. I returned it and was given a replacement that was nearly identical. I opened this one after deciding to give it a shot. While the sticker appeared to be thick and layered, and was easy to peel off, it did not adhere well. I had to make use of an x-ray machine as well. The buttons did not separate on their own, so I used an acto knife to poke holes in them. It was particularly inconvenient when I reached a thin edge and it ripped. All of the edges of the joycon sticker page had been peeled away. I tried everything I could to keep them in place, even bringing out a hairdryer to warm up the sides a little. No luck. br>br>In the end, I removed and tossed the entire thing because all of the raised sides were unattractive. When I explained the situation to Amazon customer service, they were gracious enough to issue a refund.

The quality of these stickers is far superior to what I had anticipated. They have a matte finish to them. It's a perfect fit for the system. They've made my daughter's day.
