TCL 32-inch Class 3-Series HD LED Smart Android TV - 32S334, 2021 Model

This is a nice, inexpensive TV with plenty of content that doesn't require a cable box or a cable subscription to watch. If you already have a Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime (which includes Prime Video), Disney, ESPN, Paramount, Peacock, or other subscription, it will be beneficial. There is, however, a good selection of free offerings. I've watched quite a bit of Pluto TV, which has a lot of random free channels and only airs ads like regular TV. Other similar free services, such as Vudu (for movies), Crackle (for TV and movies), and Xumo (for movies and TV), that I haven't tried, should work. Then there's YouTube, where you can watch anything at any time. br>br>However, because all of this content is streamed, if you don't have traditional cable, this TV will only be as good as your internet connection. You can connect it to wifi, but this TV has an ethernet port, so I ran a line directly from my modem to the TV, which provided me with a stable connection and good picture quality. I experienced buffering when using wifi, so use an ethernet cable unless you have very good wifi speeds. br>br>The sound quality is good, and there are enough ports to connect a sound bar or other audio device, and the picture quality is adequate as well. Although my TV arrived with one dead pixel near the top of the screen, which was not a deal breaker for me, it is not a pristine HD TV. If you already own an Android phone, you're probably familiar with how everything works in terms of usability. This is essentially an Android operating system that has been modified for use on televisions. You can get apps from the Google Play Store, such as Netflix and Pluto TV. Any app that you can download and use to watch videos on your phone will most likely work with this TV. You might have trouble using this TV if you aren't familiar with modern technology and smart phones. For a long time, I've used an Android phone. br>br>The remote has a minimalistic design, so there are no dedicated rewind/FF buttons or "back" buttons, etc. You just intuitively figure out whether the back arrow will rewind when you're in a show or take you back when you're in a menu, etc. (I saw another reviewer complain that the TV didn't come with a remote - A remote control, two new batteries, a power cable, and an A/V adapter cable were all included in my package. ) Some people who aren't used to modern user interfaces for phone apps and other similar devices may find the remote confusing at times. br>br>Overall, I believe this is a good television for the money. My cable company's monthly fee for another box would have been prohibitively expensive for the room I wanted to put this TV in. It seems to me that watching the streaming services I already have on this TV is a better idea.

This is a GOOGLE TV, which means it won't be able to access many of the streaming channels that ROKU TVs can. So, if you're thinking of getting a ROKU or something similar, I'd advise you to think twice. I considered using YouTubeTV or FUBO instead, but neither of these services are supported. It's extremely difficult to enter anything, and it'll only show you what GOOGLE has because that's the only way to load apps. I need to think about what I'm going to do with this now that I've been duped out of $200 for it. br>br>I'm still trying to figure this out. Even getting regular television is difficult.

The television is incredible. I purchased the Android version and was disappointed to learn that it only comes in 720p, but to my surprise, it is in 1080p and looks fantastic for the price. br>I primarily use it as a monitor, and it performs admirably. br>It was very simple to set up, I just copied the information from my phone and the TV connected to the wifi network right away, and everything works perfectly. br>The remote control is extremely sensitive and performs admirably. br>I've read that the HDMI ports are a little tight, but mine are fine. This is a fantastic little TV. I purchased the TCL 32in Android TV.

I bought a 32-inch TV, and after four days of use, I have no regrets. The picture quality is 9/10, and the ability to use it with a DVD, a computer, or a console is 10/10. Since I have the Android version (9. 1), it was very simple to set up with your Google account. 0). Sound quality is an 8/10; it gets loud with a small amount of distortion, but when you see the speakers, you can't ask for anything more; nonetheless, it sounds clean, has Netflix, and comes with a remote! Regarding 720P or 1080P my suggestions between this model and the previous roku 32S327 you can take this one with no hassle, quality is similar nothing to blame on this depending on your usage it gets synced with 1080p and also use the HDR technology (tested with pc windows 10) i use this primarily as a monitor for gaming but also for some chill time watching movies I hope this information was useful in assisting you in making your decision.

I am extremely disappointed! My sole motivation for purchasing this ANDROID TV was to be able to install my Android version of Township (game) (which I already have on my Android phone) on it. Township is not downloaded by this Android television. I don't have cable, and I don't have any subscription apps that aren't available on my tablet. It's time to get your hands on the remote control! I spent much more time getting the batteries in the remote than I did setting up the entire television (including the legs). The remote is only 1 1/2 inches wide and incredibly thin. I damaged it so badly while attempting to open the battery compartment that I now require a replacement. (Hands that are arthritic). I'm going to call the company to see if they have "normal" size remotes because I'd rather throw away the TV than buy new remotes every time the batteries need to be replaced. A valuable lesson has been learned! I'll never switch back to my old television set.

So far, everything has gone well. My only wish is that the HDMI port was located on the left rather than the right. The picture quality is excellent, and the smart features are extremely useful. It didn't sync with my phone, but I was able to get it to sync with my laptop so I could avoid having to put in my Hulu, Prime, Netflix, and paramount accounts. Plus, I was previously using a Toshiba TV connected to my laptop via HDMI; this is much easier and better because I can type on my laptop while watching, and it's under $150 for a 32" Smart TV. The difference in size between a 28" and a 32" seems enormous! What an amazing television set. In a few weeks, I'll post an update.

This television is being used for Zoom meetings. It's simple to connect it to my Mac Air. It's lightweight and compact, making it easy to move from room to room as needed.
