Questions & Answers

Is it possible to hang it on the wall?

Yes, that is possible. 200x200 is the Vesa norm for 55 inches. The dimensions of a 65-inch screen are 400x300 pixels. This is the wall mount that I chose. http://www.topproducts24.com/mounting-systems/ dream- md2380 md2380 md2380 md23

Is the viewing angle significantly reduced by the curved screen? What does the picture look like if I'm 45 degrees off center?

I have a curved screen (but not this one) that I adore. It not only looks better from a wider range of angles than a FLAT screen, but it also minimizes reflections. My BR apartment consists of a Because my 55" is acting up, I'm considering purchasing this for the LR and relocating my 55" to the BR. That was something my better half assumed I'd do. She was absolutely correct.br>

Blue Tooth can be set up in a variety of ways.

What's the difference between the 2019 and 2020 versions?

The year 2019 is indicated by the letter UHD. 'Crystal UHD' is the name given to the 2020 year.

Clouding! On a brand new TV, there's a lot of clouding
3/5

So, I got the first one and returned it because when I turned it on, I noticed white-like images on a completely black screen. When I contacted Samsung Tech Support, the first person I spoke with told me that it was normal for a curved TV. I wasn't convinced, so I talked to another tech support representative, who said he'd never heard anything like that before. br>I looked for similar complaints on the internet but couldn't find any. As a result, I sent it back and received a replacement. A new one arrived, and the clouding effect reappeared, as it always does on a dark screen. I called Tech Support again, who advised me to lower the TV brightness (for starters, why should I have to fiddle with the picture settings of a new TV?). ) I tried it, and it didn't work either. Two different televisions are shown in the images. I'm someone who pays close attention to the smallest details, and I can't seem to get my mind off the clouding.

I've had my new Curved TV 55" (2020 Model) for over a week and I'm very impressed with it
5/5

I'm blown away. br>br>I read the reviews for the 2019 model and the 2020 model and decided I wanted the most recent, because the remotes for the two model years are obviously different, and the most recent is very sleek and has a curved bottom for very easy hand holding. I was perplexed by the volume button, but thanks to a You-Tube video, I was able to figure it out. Otherwise, the remotes are a breeze. There was a tube channel where the woman spoke Japanese but was still understandable to me. br>br>As I no longer require my Roku, it will be relocated to another TV in a different room. This TV comes with everything you need and displays it on the home screen when you turn it on. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes br>br>There is a slight difference in viewing with the curved screen. It appeals to me. I have the impression that I am watching a movie in a nice theater. I have a lot of low lighting in the room, so there isn't a lot of glare. In fact, it has less glare than my old Sony and the rest of the house's televisions. br>br>According to many reviews, the screen was cracked when it was delivered. I finally realized that the cracked screen was on the inside, not the outside glass (though I could be wrong), so I was very nervous when it came time to open my box and attach the legs. However, if you place the TV on its curves screen side and use the curved glass foam support, you should have no problems. Just be gentle. However, until you turn on the TV, you won't know if yours is cracked. When I turned it on, everyone in the world could hear my heartbeat. But it was a perfect picture, with WiFi that was simple to set up and picture quality that was breathtaking. Within 5 minutes of setting up, I was able to capture the images I wanted. Please keep in mind that this photo was taken with an old phone! br>br>You will lose if you are undecided or procrastinate about whether or not to buy. They don't make these any longer, and I was hoping to get one before they were gone. br>br>If you don't like it, you're going to lose it. Go for broke or go home, as the saying goes.

I'm unable to keep up with the pace of the action
3/5

I'm a big Samsung fan, but this one is a dud. br> Curved 65" 2020 8300 series. Smart features are beneficial and simple to operate. It's convenient to have a remote. They added a couple of buttons for quick access to Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV, but that's about it for the good features. br> The image is reasonably clear, but the black colors appear gray, and ANY movement on any input or app will result in blurring or shadowing. When the remote buttons are pressed, it also has a slower response time than my previous models. When you click a button, it should select that option rather than making you think about it or causing you to hesitate in opening what you clicked. br> This is where Samsung really messed up. br>br> UPDATE: br>br> br> Return shipping cost me $15, and I had to contact Amazon Support after 45 days because my refund money was never issued after they received the TV. br> I will never buy a television from Amazon again. It was a good lesson.

This 4K UHD television is fantastic
5/5

I truly believe that you get what you pay for, and Samsung consistently produces the highest-quality televisions. I was planning on purchasing a Sony 4K UHD, which is obviously more expensive, but I'm happy with my Samsung. I could get the same picture quality from LG, Vizio, or other brands, but I'd rather have Samsung. This Samsung 55" 4K UHD produces significantly better picture quality than my other Vizio 60" 4K. br>br>The TV arrived one day early, thanks to UPS. Everything, including the remote's batteries, was in the box. There were no cracks in the screens or missing pixels, as reported by others. To screw the bottom support in, all you need is a phillip screwdriver. br>br>I have a Samsung soundbar, and the TV recognized it automatically. Because they're both from the same manufacturer, I only use the TV remote to control the soundbar. It also recognized my Xbox One without any additional input. br>br>I'm glad this model comes with the small chocolate bar-shaped remote with only a few buttons, rather than the larger one with a lot of them. I only wish they had given the remote a little more thought, such as backlighting. Popular services like Disney, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and YouTube are among the SMART TV features. Other services, such as Showtime, HBO Max, and so on, must be downloaded from the Samsung TV app store. It also includes a Samsung TV, which allows you to access some free channels. I had a minor issue with Netflix starting, which is apparently a known issue with Samsung Smart TVs released after 2015. You must update the TV configuration to use Netflix by going to the settings. br>br>Instructions for unpacking: Instead of unboxing this TV by yourself, it's best to do so with a friend. It's best to place the TV on the sofa or bed rather than the hard floor to avoid cracking it. Particularly if the two bottom supports are installed. br>br>Overall, I had a good time. I strongly advise everyone to purchase this TV or the 60" model ($100 more).
