Questions & Answers

What options do you have for screen protection?

Why would you touch the screen unless it was to clean it? Allow your children no access to it, and if they are unable to keep their hands to themselves, simply remove them from the situation.

Is there an optical connection for digital audio out?

Yes, there is a single optical digital outlet.

Is this a suitable television for viewing on the patio?

Hi there! Because it is not IP rated for outdoor use, the Q70A TV is not recommended for use on a patio. We do, however, suggest that you check out Samsung's The Terrace TV! The Terrace TV is an outdoor QLED TV with an IP55 rating that is ideal for use in partial shade. You can also use The Terrace TV in conjunction with The Terrace Soundbar, which is also IP55 rated for outdoor use. Specialist in Samsung

Buyer beware of this defective product
3/5

It's been 5 weeks since I bought this television. I've only seen a few episodes. The screen is suddenly interrupted by a white line. br>I immediately dialed for help, and after some basic troubleshooting, I was told that a technician would likely need to come to my house. This is completely unacceptable. br> This is a brand new television. br>I AM NOT AT ALL HAPPY. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I have yet to receive a full refund despite my repeated requests. The faulty television was picked up over a week ago by a company. Each time I call Samsung, I get a different response. When it comes to your money, people will take their time. I will never buy a Samsung product because the company's customer service is as bad as their products.

Both the software and the remote are ineffective
3/5

What I enjoyed the most was - The picture quality was excellent when it was first installed. Colors are vibrant, and the image is well defined. Everything else was a turn-off for me. The first set-up It takes about three times as long to boot up as other smart TVs I've installed. The user interface isn't easy to use, and the cheap remote didn't help matters. I could have lived with it if the picture had been better. The nightmare began as soon as I turned off my television. Using the remote (which is solar-powered? ), the TV would not turn on. ) unless I unplugged the TV for a few seconds before plugging it in again. I couldn't select anything with the remote once the TV was turned on. I did some research on the internet and found that many people recommended that I re-enter the workforce. I was able to sync the remote, which I did - and this would sometimes work for a single session before the TV was turned off. When I turned off the television, the same thing happened. Furthermore, there are no visible manual controls on this television to assist you in navigating the menus without using the remote. Amazon was extremely helpful in assisting me in returning the TV, and I ended up purchasing an LG OLED TV instead - The installation went smoothly, with a great user interface, a great picture, and a lot of functionality on the remote.

Start the remote by syncing it
4/5

As a result, when you first open the box and turn it on; The remote may need to be paired with the television (it will turn on and off, but it will not proceed past the start up with smartphone or remote option if it is not paired; scanner onscreen qr code next screen) is recommended for smartphone setup. To pair, press and hold the return/enter keys at the same time. For 5 seconds, press and hold the play/pause buttons just below the circular button, straddling the "home" button. Please see the image attached. Another piece of advice. One day, the television's "smartness" connection was lost. Unplug the tv power outlet for a few minutes to solve the problem.

Samsung, you've been a huge letdown
3/5

The money was not well spent. Coming from a Sony background, I'm used to TCL TVs. To be honest, compared to the cheaper 4k TVs on the market, it isn't really worth the extra money. The resolution is actually quite good, and you can almost tell the difference in resolution between the various technologies employed. But, at the end of the day, you can't tell the difference between pretty much ANY CONTENT from a few feet away. br>Now comes the software, which is a deal breaker for me. It's not very intuitive right out of the box, which is annoying, and it has ADs (AD-related). ADs are a pain in the neck. on a $1,000 television). Then there's the software, which is extremely buggy and difficult to use. Did I mention it's not very intuitive? Then, on my first day, it kept giving me error codes when I tried to add apps (even Samsung Apps), so I just gave up. ing gallery app (which should already be on your device). Oh, no, there isn't a launcher for apps. Alternatively, you can use the app store (you must search for apps yourself). ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( br>Thank you, Samsung; now I understand why Apple is always one step ahead.

Although the television is excellent, the remote control is ineffective
4/5

The television is fantastic, and I enjoy watching it. In terms of picture quality, sound, and other features, this is the best television I've ever owned. The "solar-powered" remote is the issue. Anyone who came up with that idea should be fired! When I go to us, it doesn't work half of the time because the power is out. I finally bought a charging cable for it, but it still doesn't work all of the time. Without a working remote, the television serves as a door stop. Why did they go for such a low price for such a high-priced television? do you have the remote? I'm now looking for a universal remote replacement, but because the TV is so new, it's not listed as a model compatible with universal remotes.

The television is incredible
5/5

Check with SMART. QUALITY CHECK ON THE VISUAL SIDE SOUND? Purchase a sound bar and consider the job done. I ordered the 85-inch version, and it arrived two days later at 6 a. m. We were ready to go after having it professionally mounted. The image is stunning, and you can tell it's been upscaled. On YouTube, I looked at a few 4K test videos and movie scenes. I watched The Dark Knight Rises in particular, and the Black Panthers are fantastic. There was no smokey or ghosting in the blacks, and the different shades could be seen. The intelligent features are fantastic. br>br> When your screen is not in use, they have an "art" setting that turns it into moving or still art. Or ambiance, in which certain vibes or moods are chosen and sounds and visuals are played to relax or set the tonebr>br>The sound is the one major flaw I have. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've been using a Sonos surround sound system for the last two years, but the regular sound on this TV was flat and unimpressive. br>In my opinion, if you're going to buy this TV, you should get a sound bar at the very least.

Great TV
5/5

I haven't bought a flat screen in over ten years, so I could be easily persuaded, but this is a fantastic TV. In less than an hour, I was set up and ready to work. Setting up the TV and connecting cable, internet, registration, and the video console was a breeze with the phone app. The Samsung Plus works well, and the casting from iPhones is excellent. Because some buttons on the Samsung remote have dual functions (volume/mute channel/guide), there is a slight learning curve. br>The image is shocking and well-sized for viewing. Couldn't be more pleased!.
