For less than 6 months, I used it sparingly and infrequently. At least ten. 20 uses. br>br>I attempted to use it today, but the network cable would not latch. I tried a different cable and had the same issue. When I pushed harder, the entire contents of the metal case (circuit board) pushed out the back. On the plus side, once it was out and all of the electronics and wires were exposed, it stayed locked into the jack, allowing me to finish the job. LOLbr>br>But even before that, it didn't like to stay positively engaged when plugged into a USB C port; there wasn't enough room to keep such a bulky adapter firmly inserted into the small jack that is USB C unless it was fully supported by the desk and the network cable was not taut. br>br>Buy a regular USB 3. 0 port instead of this adapter. Instead, use a USB to USB C adapter cable and a USB to USB C ethernet adapter.

It suddenly stopped working exactly two months after I started using it. We lost internet access on that computer, and the adapter no longer lights up. I'm hoping the seller contacts me because two months of work is insufficient.

This was purchased so that a Chromebook could be hardwired for use in live streaming a class via Google Classroom. The download speed was a respectable 135 Mbps, and the quality was excellent.

Because my laptop only has USB – C ports and I needed to connect it to an ethernet cable, I purchased this. It took a little fiddling with the settings to get it to work, but once it did, it's been fine. The price was better than I expected, and it works as it should.

I unboxed it and plugged it into my new iPad via Ethernet. It showed up in settings as connected, but I was never able to connect to the internet. I used a different adaptor to make sure it wasn't something else, and it worked fine. It is not something I would recommend.

On an Android smartphone, tablet, Mac, or Windows computer, this is an excellent product. You'll notice that "C" type ports are commonly found on laptops. to charge and connect the internet cable On today's laptops, nearly all versions are available.

This adapter comes in handy when you need to connect to Ethernet, USB, or the new Oval Style USB at work. Locations of the schools. 100% Glad I got it because I wouldn not be able to connect at various Work Sites without it.
