Yes, the RCA, SPDIF, and HDMI outputs all have sound when you select 2CH Mode.
That was the intention all along. I'm using it with a Nintendo Switch, but the concept is the same. The switch is flipped on, and video and audio are connected to my television and amplifier, respectively.
If your receiver has optical or RCA L/R input ports, the answer is yes. Connect the Firestick to the HDMI IN port on the iArk, the TV to the HDMI OUT port on the iArk, and the Yamaha receiver to the audio ports on the Yamaha receiver. On the Firestick, select 2CH PCM as the output audio format, and turn off Dolby Digital Plus.
Yes, but please ensure that the terminal devices connected to the HDMI and optical ports are capable of supporting the output audio format. If incoming is 7, for example. Sound will only be available through the HDMI port if you choose 1CH.

What a fantastic find! br>br>I have a Samsung television with no audio output - Neither analog nor digital are viable options. I happened to come across this product by chance. After doing some research, ordering it, and installing it, voila! Fantastic digital sound with optical effects! No more'muffled' audio from my laptop's 3 speakers, and no more thin TV speakers. There's a 5mm jack now, and I don't have to switch Bluetooth between my laptop and my phone anymore. My Boston Acoustics sound system is finally reaching its full potential. Nice!.
I bought this after having issues with a similar item from another brand. My most recent purchase (from J-) was this one. Tech) died after one use, and while that could have been an outlier, I'm happy to report that I've had no issues with iArktech's product, which I purchased to address the PS4 slim's optical port (or lack thereof) issue, and it works perfectly.
It accomplishes the task at hand. br>br>In my garage, I use this. In my garage, I have a new TV with HDMI and an old, dependable stereo receiver with no HDMI. The issue has been resolved. br>br>I connect this device to a Fire Stick and then split the signal. So far, I've forgotten about the device, which is a good thing.
This box far surpassed my expectations and was precisely what I required. br>br>My goal was to separate a line level analog stereo audio feed on female RCA's from an incoming HDMI signal while still allowing the HDMI to reach the TV with both 1080p video and audio. My Amazon 4k Firestick provided the HDMI input to the box in this case. br>br>Three output modes are selectable via a small three-position slide switch on this device. This is exactly what I was looking for. It has digital audio out, which allows me to connect audio to my Onkyo receiver's "speaker 2. " This allows you to play music throughout your home using an Apple TV 4. br>br>Previous TVs had a separate digital audio (toslink) out, but the version 4 does not, which is inconvenient.
Period. I was hesitant to buy this one at first, but after reading some of the other reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy it. I don't know about anyone else's experience, but it's perfect for me. We have a 55-inch Samsung wall-mounted television that's an older model. It has HDMI support, so we can connect the Amazon Fire TV to it, but it doesn't support 5. 1 audio. The fix was this small box. The Amazon Fire TV single has a wireless connection that works well. As a result, the audio output from the AFTV box is only integrated through the HDMI output and does not have an external output. The AFTV HDMI output was connected to the HDMI input of the converter. The audio system's input was then connected to the s/pid fiber output. I turned on all of the devices and was pleasantly surprised to find that they functioned better than I had anticipated. It sounds fantastic, and I mean fantastic. The video for the single is also fantastic. It was well worth the $25. Is this something that I would recommend? If you have the same type of setup as we do, then yes, I would highly recommend it.
This low-cost gadget appears to be well-made and functions flawlessly! br>br>The HDMI output on my DirecTV box connected to an older DLP HD TV. Only one HDMI output is available on the DirecTV box. I used my JBL amp, speakers, and powered sub-woofer for audio. woofer - a very pleasant sound - Powered by the TV's audio out jack. Even if I was only watching a DirecTV music channel, I had to keep the TV "on. " I wanted to be able to listen to my favorite DirecTV music channel without having to turn on the TV because DLP uses an expensive light bulb (which I have already replaced for $100). To put it another way, I wanted to use the DirecTV box as my audio source. br>br>This "Audio Extractor" is designed to do just that. I feed the TV through the HDMI in and out. I feed my amp (2 channels) through the RCA jacks. The HDTV picture is unaffected, and the audio is flawless. br>br>It's worth noting that HDMI supports both video and audio. Only the video is used in my case. br>br>For the price, this is an excellent device!.
Because my TV's optical out only works for the TV tuner, and the TV does not feed audio, I used this between a Roku and the TV to extract the SPID/IF optical digital audio stream and send it to my receiver. As a result, this is something I'm in desperate need of. It works, but it isn't ideal. I assume the audio is a few seconds behind because of processing, and I've played media that this unit can't seem to decode. There are also switches to change the type of audio you're receiving (2ch/5. 1 channel per passthru). Unless the audio on the media you're watching is in DD5, I've found no difference between them. 1 If you get any audio at all, it will almost certainly be in two-channel stereo.
