Questions & Answers
You must direct it in the general direction of the box with this one. If it's pointed in the wrong direction, it won't work.
It's perfect!
That's not the case. It's the simplest version. Buttons are all you have.
If you have an HR44 Genie, the new RC71 remote is recommended, though the standard DIRECTV remote will also work in IR mode. Only in mode.

br>br>Apart from it being old and filthy, there are undoubtedly a million unique and mostly amusing reasons to replace your remote. My dog(s) have devoured several. When they're teething and you forget about it and leave it on the bed, you'll come home to a severely chewed ex-partner. remote. "It tasted really techy!" br>br>"It tasted really techy!" br>br>"It tasted really techy!" "br>br>The first time, I called DirecTV and had to wait a few days for a replacement; however, when I discovered that Best Buy sells the exact same remote (for the same $25), the convenience factor made that a winner, and I was ready the next time it happened because there's a BB about 5 minutes away. br>br>However, I recently purchased two of them for less than $15 each, and they are identical. not the same as the DirecTV remote, not the same as the DirecTV remote However, they are EXACTLY the same. Yes! br>br>As a result, I was able to solve the ever-evolving problem of "Where is the remote?" is a common question these days. "br>"I was under the impression you'd figured it out. "br>"No, I was under the impression you already had it. " "br>"Perhaps it's sat on by the dog?" "br>"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no," says the "br>"Well, keep looking, because if I don't change the channel, I'm going to go insane: This show irritates me. "br>br>So, using the elegantly simple 'Brute Force' approach of having at least a half-dozen of them, I've now solved such problems. At the very least, one of them will always be available. br>br>For the same price as one DirecTV replacement, you can get four. Thank you so much. It is highly recommended.
My DirecTV receiver, a model D12, was starting to give me problems. To get the receiver's attention, I had to press down hard on the remote keys. The remote sometimes pretended to be dead - When the buttons on the Mode switch were pressed, the lights on the switch did not blink - On occasion. The volume, on the other hand, controls the television directly, and it worked perfectly after a few battery changes. br>br>Moreover, the receiver acted as if it were dangling. Unusual behavior in general. br>br>I ordered this RC66 remote (exactly the same as the one I already have) because the lights on the old one were not blinking. It worked fine with slight button push pressure when I installed the two included batteries and tested it out. I simply rebooted the receiver because it was still acting up. Off/on the power Everything seems to be working fine now. br>br>The only thing I can think of is that the old remote was stuttering and confusing the receiver. br>br>In any case, this remote is flawless. You'll need to look up the remote codes for your television in order to program it. The programming instructions can be found on the DirecTV website. br>br>It does the job well and is reasonably priced. This particular remote costs $25 from DirecTV. You're well aware that at this price, you should have a spare - Two should be ordered. br>br>Even though the two included batteries died exactly two days later, I gave it five stars.
In the fall of 2020, I purchased one of these. Some buttons stopped working reliably after a few weeks. I had to go back to Amazon to get a replacement. This one lasted four months before failing in the same manner as the previous one. This is what happens: up-the-channel When in normal viewing mode, both the down and up arrows that bring up the small nine-channel choice block stop working. These same buttons worked in other modes as well (!). They work fine in the "GUIDE" mode, where they can perform their functions. After that, they return to normal viewing and work to change the channel or bring up the selection block. ONCE! They don't work again after that. A strange and specific type of failure occurred with the replacement, and it happened exactly the same way.
As a result, I gave this vendor a shot. br>It was simple and quick to program the remote. The remote itself was attractive, and it was satisfying to have that "positive" sensation when pressing a button. The previous one was in such bad shape. Also, because of the infra-red, I don't have to point at the TV or the box. technology that is red in color It has made me very happy.
This was purchased in order to obtain a new remote control. Even with the directv remote setup, it did not work. It didn't sync with the receiver and messed everything up, so I couldn't use my old remote. br>Just call Directv and ask for a remote that is already programmed to your receiver for a few dollars more.
This controller functions in the same way as the original Directv controller. Set up the controller according to the Directv instructions, and you'll be able to add features for your TV and accessories. On a Directv tuner, it works right out of the box. This is the second one we've bought to replace a worn-out one. the controllers that came with it.
I was a little wary of this remote because of the low price, but it's the same one that came with our DirecTV DVR. Our old remote was literally falling apart (the rubber on the back had come off), and it was filthy from years of use by our children. No programming was required for this replacement remote to work with DirecTV. I had to reprogramme my television, but it was a simple process. br>br>I'm glad this replacement remote was available (and at such a low price).
I needed a new one because the one provided by Directv had stopped working. When I went to them to replace it, they wanted to charge me a lot more than what I had paid on Amazon. A customer on the Directv website suggested that instead of buying from Directv, you should buy from Amazon. It has the same appearance and functionality as the original, but it is significantly less expensive.
