DeOxit D5 is an excellent product. It's something I've been using for a long time and it's always worked well. Unfortunately, I ordered several cans that were shown with the standard cap and spray nozzle, but the cans that arrived had the new all-in-one cap and spray nozzle. 1 nozzle for spraying This is a horribly designed product. It leaks, it doesn't have a metering adjustment, and the spray tube is way too big. In addition, I have a lot of the little red spray tubes that I've shaped into custom shapes to reach those hard-to-reach components. with all of this- You can't get one system in hard-to-reach places. Because the Deoxit could not be returned, Amazon credited my account for the full amount and told me to keep the cans I had ordered. Excellent customer service; Amazon customer service receives five stars!!.
TFM TFM TFM TFM TFM TFM TFM TFM TFM T A number of years ago, 6CB lost its right channel. I stowed it away with the intention of taking it to a repair shop later. My Yamaha DSP-equipped Yamaha DSP-equipped Yamaha Yamaha DSP-equipped Yamaha Yamaha DSP The right channel of the A3090 had problems as well. The 3090 would also switch sources at random, seemingly for no reason. Until I powered it down and restarted it, the source selector knob would spin back and forth in a loop. I did the same. br>br>I opened both and used a can of plastic-wrapped food as a substitute. Alcohol spray that is safe for electronics. After cleaning the interiors thoroughly, I blew them out with compressed air and let them dry for a few hours. br>br>I then used this product and followed the same procedure, spraying from the outside through the sides of switches, knobs, and the rear connectors inside and out. br>br>I followed up with a can of compressed air after air drying overnight, which I'd recommend because there was still some moisture inside the rear connectors after several hours of air drying. On the back connectors, both inside and out, I used Deoxit Gold. The small bottle came with a brush applicator, which I used. br>br>It seemed to work. Both are now in perfect working order. All functions have been restored, and the knobs spin smoothly. There aren't many things in life that give you such pleasure when you use them. It gives those of us with little experience in electronics repair the impression that we are experts. I could have easily spent hundreds of dollars if I had taken both to a repair shop. br>br>Now I'm on the lookout for other things to use this product on before it's too late. The possibilities are nearly endless, from automotive cca's and switches to household electronics. Customer is overjoyed.
It was very inconvenient for me to have to run an extra spin cycle after each wash. It also began to agitate right away, even though it was only supposed to pour water into it. I looked on the internet for any clues and discovered that it could be due to a temperature control. It was suggested that it be replaced, or at the very least, a hummer should be used to hit it. I tried humming it, but it didn't seem to help. Then I discovered that someone had tried this cleaner and had had success with it. As a result, I decided to give it a shot (at a cost of less than $20). br>I sprayed it all over after opening the panel and unplugging the temperature control. I also sprayed all of the exposed contacts on all of the other controls in the vicinity. It didn't work at first, but when I did another load the next day, everything was fine again - It fixed my washer because there was no need for an extra spin and the water filled the washer without agitating it first. br> I don't recall who gave me this advice (and I couldn't find it again), but I'm grateful. As the saying goes, your mileage may vary, but it worked wonders for me, and I was prepared to spend a lot of money on a new one.
When I used the pickup selector or volume pots on my guitar, it made crackling noises and other static sounds. I looked on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. It's very easy to use and does a fantastic job. It got rid of almost all of the crackling, and the transitions are now smoother. The disadvantages: br>br> It's time to re-use the nozzle. design. If you squeeze the product slightly too hard, it will spray like a water hose on one end, so be sure to use a microfiber or a towel when using it to avoid overspray. br>br>When I run out, I'll buy again in a few years.
DO NOT USE ON AUTOMOTIVE WEATHERPACK TYPE CONNECTORS THAT ARE SEALED. The rubber seals within them are DESTROYED. I was looking for a way to clean and protect my truck's and watercraft's weatherpack junctions. It blew out the rubber seal that kept moisture out. The seal had to be yanked out and discarded. It had swelled to nearly twice its original size, making reconnecting connectors impossible. br>br>Probably a fantastic product for amps and whatever else people use it for.
On almost any subject. It's always a good idea to have some on hand, and I always keep some on hand. I've used it to repair a variety of electrical products, including audio jacks, corroded terminals, and bad connections, among other things; at one point, I even used it like WD-40. When I saw a woman struggling to get her lug nuts off to change a flat tire, I just happened to have DeOxit in my backpack. This stuff is so versatile that I've even used it to repair phone charging cables that had failed to make good contact, resulting in intermittent charging. br>br>My only gripe is that, despite the fact that it is nearly empty, my last can of the stuff has lost all of its pressure. This is something that happens to me on a regular basis when I use WD- I'm not surprised that he's 40. Unfortunately, this product is quite costly, so it's a shame that my last can was thrown away.
