Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device with Alexa Voice Remote (includes TV controls) | Dolby Vision

The experience with this model is much better than the previous one. On top of that, the remote is a great One click of the power button on the remote turns on the tv, my receiver, and my fire stick and switches the inputs automatically, so my fire stick appears on the screen and I have it ready to go in no time. Isn't this just how things should have been? This is what we all should have had. But it gets even better from there. Say my TV is already on and I have my receiver plugged into my FIOS TV box. Is the receiver set to the TV input or another input? The only action required is to click the home button on the remote for the receiver and it will switch to the correct HDMI input on the receiver for the Fire Stick! There is only one remote to rule them all and yes it controls the volume of the receiver as well! Exactly what I was looking for. There is a great deal of flexibility with this product. This setup is quite nice, and you can choose which inputs to pick when you hit the power and home buttons. It is possible to specify which device is controlled by the volume buttons. Fire Stick 4K has been a great product from Amazon. Compared to previous fire sticks, it is faster. Lags in menus are no longer an issue. Overall, there has been an increase in smoothness and speed. As well as Roku, Chromecast Ultra, and Fire Stick, I have also used other streaming devices. Each of them has something I like about it. Chromecast is also a no-go for me due to its Due to Chromecast's refusal to support Dolby Digital or DTS 5, I am unable to play X1 audio on my receiver. DD5 has no problem being handled by Fire Stick. As a result, I'm having a much better experience with both Netflix and Plex. Having the remote instead of not having a remote is better than not having one. As well as Rokus, they are very nice. I know all three of these options are good in their own way, but honestly, I had previously thought the Firestick was the least desired option, but I have suddenly come to prefer it, so I've ordered one. I just received my 4K fire stick and I couldn't be more pleased. We need Amazon to keep doing what it's doing right. I found the 4K stick to be a solid product, and a considerable improvement over.

Let me tell you, I was so excited when the new FireTV Stick was released with its cutting-edge technology and great I have found that it does have that, but I have a couple of bugs with it. 2) The Amazon platform is basically a retooled version of Android, which has a terrible user The home screen has a cluttered look, redundant information, and Amazon just wants you to use everything they offer over everyone else's, which is why not just the menu gets in the way, but the top third of the screen is dedicated to promotions for whatever they want you to buy. Secondly, because it's Amazon they want to make sure you use THEIR streaming services to rent movies so much so that you can't install Vudu or Google Play. Would I have a less serious problem if Prime Video offered a decent selection of rentals (it does not) or if the interface was even half usable (it is not). 3) We are experiencing problems with flickering and sound dropouts on our FireTV Stick. A series of less than helpful troubleshooting tips were immediately provided by technical support. Is there any other TV you can try? Even though I had never experienced a problem with a different HDMI port on my Roku. I decided to return this since I had already had enough of their closed interface and awful There is also the issue of not being able to turn off HDR completely, which is less of an issue, but still annoying. I'm more satisfied with my Roku Stick, despite having less robust HDR support, rather than the Always-on or Adaptive channels. My other complaint is that there is no way to watch VUDU/UV movies. Secondly, MoviesAnywhere does not seem to be able to tell you which movies are In this case, the titles may sync, but in some cases (for instance Deadpool 2) you will only have access to the HD version and not the UHD/HDR one. DirecTV Now is the service we use most, and this stick doesn't work with it. I appear to be able to run the app, but then it stops working. My internet connection spikes when I go to run a speed test, and then weavers back to full speed after some time. There are some oddities happening with the app, as though it It seems like most other things are working properly, but it seems like the app we use the most does not.
