It certainly wasn't a good experience for me! Initially I assumed the laptop would have the ability to connect to the TV in my RV via the laptop. It took me until the evening to be able to hear, but not to see. My statement would not have been true if I knew it wouldn't work on a TV. It may be easier for you than it was for me! Refunds are what I am trying to get.
You can still record them with Dish Network your hopper go with you, as long as the device can support the Dish Anywhere App, you will be able to stream a show on any mobile device by connecting it to your wifi.
In order to operate, the HopperGo must be paired with the Dish Anywhere App, which has to use a wireless connection to "check in". Sometimes I need to check in with Fi I've observed inconsistent intervals (i.e., every day can range from 24 hours to 5 days, after which time the software will cease to access the HopperGo until it is rechecked. 2) If you will be away from any wireless networks While you might have wi-fi for a few days in the woods or mountains, there's a risk it won't work and it can be off for a long time The dormant period is when the plant does not give be greeted with the "Playback Authorization Error" screen, which leads you to the You need to disconnect from Keep DISH Anywhere connected for 30 seconds after relaunching it with an Internet connection. It was possible to do so using a 4G connection even if there was no Wi-Fi I wish you all the best.
I bought it after Dish told me it was possible. After I discovered that wasn't the case, I walked away disappointed. There is no way to configure it for your desktop or laptop, only your tablet or phone.

When I found out that the Hopper Go was out of stock and back ordered, I was so excited to receive it. It's too bad I didn't realize the good folks at Dish Network require a Hopper 3 DVR or a Hopper with Sling (not a Sling Adapter, like I purchased). When I called about transferring my existing DVR to a Hopper with Sling and would they give me credit for the Sling Adapter I purchased for Dish Anywhere, they informed me that they would not exchange the DVR. A bill of $64 was given to me. My DVR could be upgraded to Hopper with Sling for $150, or they could come out to my home and change it. When it comes to the sweet 16 tuner Hopper 3, they can change it to $0. 00. It was very cool, but I was not asked what type of unit I would like and I got Sling without a Hopper. My opinion is that this isn't a very good idea. When I first got my RV, I got a Tailgaiter. Sometimes when I'm camping, I'm unable to get a signal of any kind. A Hopper Go is something I would love to have! Actually, in theory it is wonderful and wonderful that Sling has the capability to stream live TV. There is nothing more frustrating for me than all the proprietary and incompatible (by design) obsolete equipment that each provider has on their site. This is a warning to the buyer. Prior to spending money, take the time to get as much information as you can. While I'm considering returning the Hopper Go, I waited a long time to buy one, thinking that the Hopper Go was all I needed. After plugging in my Hopper Go, which is in great shape, the screen reads your equipment is not compatible with Hopper Go (____). That's a real Any suggestions on how to make this work on my current equipment would be greatly appreciated. I will hear back, or I will check with anyone who knows how to do it. Earlier this year, I don't remember being asked which unit I wanted) and I have a Sling Adapter, which works fine for Dish Anywhere, however, I do not always have cell service or WiFi, so I can't watch through my phone. Hopper Go was the only solution I wanted. It's so sad. Buying these things is not the seller's fault, but I wish a check list was available to figure out what equipment you already have before buying a piece of equipment that will not work with the other. There is nothing more common than all competing providers trying to charge and sell more to the public.
It was a fairly easy process to transfer the funds. when it comes to trying to play the episodes, you'll run into several problems. The episodes of a number of shows I transferred, for example. They showed up on HopperGO as well. I noticed that every time I watched them, there would be some sort of error. Assume I had six episodes to transfer. There would be a menu with all 6. Some of the time I go play one, but sometimes not. There would be no proper episode to play. I've already seen one, so it would play one that I've already seen. Usually, no matter what episode I selected at that point, that same episode would continue to play regardless of which episode I selected. So either the transfer process went wrong or there was an error. Playback stages can also be referred to as Do you have a question? Having watched or deleted almost everything that I had transferred in this first use, I have essentially finished my first transfer. I just started playing it, and now it doesn't play anything. I'm not too happy with this outcome, especially since I spent nearly $100 on it.
The device supports the dish anywhere app, which allows content to be transferred over the internet, and is self-contained, creating its own Wi-Fi Watch the content on the Internet using the Wi-Fi connection. It works great no matter where you are. The most important thing for my daughter when we are taking a long drive is this.
Please be aware It is no longer possible to use the HopperGo with DISH. The hopper will not be compatible with it. Using DishAnywhere with less functionality is now the only option. In the end, this will be returned by you if you buy.
There's no doubt about it There is no support for this in the Dish network anymore. In May 2021, I was unable to connect I called Dish, and they said it is no longer supported.
Whenever I'm on the go, I can take all of my shows with me in this box. This is such a great idea! I highly recommend it.
It seems to work fine. I've stored a lot of movies on it, and I haven't taken it on a trip as of.
