With a HR44 system and two genie minis, I have an integrated system. A new genie mini receiver was activated in minutes after I connected the receiver to the spare port on the splitter. I called DirecTV and told them I had to activate a new receiver. In any case, for my part, I've agreed that The new contract includes the following provisions *Service Fee $7/mo*Extension for 2 years*Leased Equipment 2 years.
Worked just fine, but did not realize there was This works great, but I didn't realize there was a wireless Genie that would have done the same thing. My one that I purchased had to be hard-wired in, and I now know that the wireless is more expensive but then the DirectTV technician would not have been required. My next TV will be a wireless Genie if I ever get another one for another room.
The seller shipped the item much faster than expected, and the receiver works perfectly. From my SWM switch out to my garage, I had already run an extra RG6 coax cable, so I just had to DIRECTV comes to the rescue with a new C51 if you sign up for a whole new 2 year contract. The only problem is that once a new contract is signed, you can't upgrade your equipment for two more You would have to pay $299 if you wanted to upgrade within the 2 years before your contract was up. There is $149 for the Main Genie DVR and $249 for the Premium Genie DVR The license fee for Genie Clients is 199 dollars. It would be extremely helpful at this time (Time They do not yet have a 4K Genie DVR and 4K programming to bring out in 2016) before signing the contract. Sign the contract once 4K programming becomes a mainstream phenomenon and the 4K Genie DVR becomes available, and you'll be able to upgrade all your devices for free. Until we have more options, there is nothing better than this for an Extra Genie Client or Replacement Receiver. Then run a line from the SWM switch to the new location, connect the Gene Client, call DirecTV to activate, and bam! You're done! And the best part was, I didn't even have to start all over with a new 2 year contract.
My usage of Genie technology goes back more than a dozen years, and this is my second HR54 Genie HD DVR coupled with a client C51 Genie. It was a bit of a test to add the first C51 client to my system. The responsiveness, client size, and heat dissipation of the C51 were much better than my other HD DVRs. Accordingly, one of the HD DVRs has been replaced with this new client, as well as the TV and the installation setup has been upgraded. While I tried to add a client location to my DirecTV account, I ran into some trouble with the customer support. My DirecTV technician installed the Genie DVR and first client, and I set up the first client myself for the first time Adding a client (after installing In the past, I have set up multiple DVRs and receivers). There seemed to be a miscommunication between what is meant by adding a client and a standard receiver when a customer service rep answered my question. It took him about 30 minutes to figure out what to do, but now it has been working smoothly ever.
Having just plugged it in, I couldn't wait to see what would happen. My favorite part of the movie was the ending. Having just plugged it in, I couldn't wait to see what would happen. That's when things went south as there were no directions on how to sign in to the remote. Many software directions were given, and the remote did not allow me to respond to any of them.
Please take note The boxes have been remanufactured. My view is the same as yours. The box needs to be activated by DirecTV. It is easy to hook up, but you will need to call them. These both work well for me, and I ordered two of them.
As far as the product works and my order was delivered on time, the seller did just fine. The Directv view on this product is that it is a dying breed!.
Don't need it.
