The eastern arc dish is connected to the western arc dish. As a result of trees and buildings, it was difficult for me to find a good spot for the old western arc dish. A clear shot at EA 62 and 72 satilites is in my hands. I scored this product 5 stars simply because you can drop it in and it is an easy drop in replacement if you know what you're doing. It turned out, however, that I did not really know what I was doing and still have a wide variety of questions to ask about aiming multi-satellite Having spent an entire day struggling to set up my Dish VIP211z receiver, I am now able to use my remote. While I was able to find Sat 62 on my receiver, I couldn't locate Sat 72 in its dish point menu. Short version, it seems you have to reset the box a few times and do at least one or two switch tests before the receiver will recognize both LNBs and allow you to browse programming from both satellites. There seem to be no problems with this product, which seems a perfect replacement for what I had before.
As we travel in our RV, we wanted to be able to access the eastern arc. These were swapped out for the western arc LNBs. I only took a few minutes to do this. It is the 1000 that I downloaded. You can get the Eastern Arc satellite reflector angles by following instructions in the manual. It was purely operator error that prevented me from getting the two satellites. Five or six times I checked the settings, I realized my mistake (the skew was wrong), and the satellites appeared shortly after. When traveling and needing to avoid trees, etc. in campgrounds, it will be useful to have the option of aiming southeast or southwest.
Everything seems to be working Dish receivers I owned when we lived full time in our RV are still working fine and I do not care to be involved in another contract with Dish. After returning my equipment they requested that I return the LNBF, so to be able to get service from Dish on the pay as you go plan, I needed a new LNBF to be able to attach to the dish, so I bought It hasn't been a problem for me.
The DISH we had in Illinois was moved from Illinois to Western North Carolina, where I had trouble getting It was suggested to me that I try the eastern arc LNBF by an installer from Illinois. Due to my southern exposure, I had decent light. I'm happy with the way this works.
The sat is convenient and easy to use.
It will cost you 00 to have it fixed. A 100-point offer was made by Dish. A mechanic will come out and fix our unit at a cost of $100 plus another $100. I would like to charge $00 for this part. I purchased this on Amazon, installed it in over 10 minutes, and now we're back up and running. PLEASE DO NOT CALL DISH TO ORDER PARTS!.
I find it to be useful when making Eastern dishes.
I needed a new "head" and this was the exact replacement part. I was worried about replacing the old one and ruining the antenna alignment (needlessly). It is nothing to worry about With only a Phillips screwdriver and pliers to (gently) snug down the coax cable connector, replacement took 56 minutes.
