My old analog Directv receiver and dish failed one day, and I reinstalled them, but they are still not working. It was not possible to find a satellite. The company that owns Directv, AT&T, was the first I called I can't even begin to describe how amazing this is (and WOW There is a lot of up's and down's Their sales pitch was exciting and promising, but they failed to deliver on their promises. All of their solutions would cost me more than I felt reasonable and/or raise my monthly charge AND I would have to wait six weeks before a technician could drop The top of the vase had a crack In fact, it drowned after being inundated with water. As a result, I gave this new one a try, along with a signal strength meter, and it was working within two days I was instructed to do so) and to replace my receiver and dish as well. Several HD local news channels are available for $120 extra per year and you don't need to use HD local news services SD has enough problems as it is.
There was a problem with our satellite dish at our summer cabin, so we determined it needed to be replaced. We are able to watch TV again after it worked great. The initial thought was that it wouldn't work since we are in the woods, however, it worked better than expected. I found the process of replacing and installing it to be easy. In my opinion, this product is worth recommending.
In general, the LNB or product met all our expectations. However, the LNB shipped via USPS was a problem. My Direct TV system upgrade was complete by the second day of receiving my parts, even though it took several days to arrive. USPS took five days to deliver, but I didn't know when it would be!.
It did not work in the previous two labs. Firstly, the delivery person dropped the package instead of setting it on the ground. Seeing it done is enough for me to believe it is true. It did not work, as you can imagine.
I bought this to use with an old satellite TV dish to create an Itty Bitty Radio Telescope. The work is done.
If these LNBs are exposed to sunlight for too long, the plastic cover on them will crack and water will enter. There is a decrease in signal strength and you lose connection. I find this replacement to be excellent.
The installation took less than 10 minutes, and the program was working in no time at all. Furthermore, we highly recommend obtaining the Electronix Express SF-D This meter measures signal strength at 95 dB. Easy installation and fine-tuning were made possible by this feature. As a result, more than half of our transponders were lost due to cloud cover. We are back in business with a strong signal for all transponders and all channels, now that the old one is replaced.
