In celebration of Halloween, I bought a projector that came with a screen (without a stand, it was one you had to hang on the wall). I bought it specifically to play scary videos during the It wasn't what I wanted, so I returned it. After testing it out, I realized that I had to connect a DVD player to it. The same brand of projector with DVD player came with this screen, but I had to buy it separately (a larger screen with a stand-alone base). The display quality made a big difference in the quality of the image, as much was evident after testing it out. The picture and video do not do this screen justice, as you'd be watching a 120" HD TV in person. It was the right decision for me to take this path. The scary videos that I wanted to play look like you are standing right next to a real apparition, it is incredible, we watched a debate, watched a football game, watched a scary movie. No, this was not the case. was able to put all of that together in 6 hours The session lasted about 8 minutes, but with only one person it was not ideal. In the process of construction, either the connector gets stuck or slides off the base. It was a challenge to take it down by myself because I was afraid it would scratch the ground and get dirty if done alone. My husband agreed to help me take it down. The sheer size is an issue that I have to take responsibility for - it's far too large to be practical. There was also a long dark line on one side of the screen, so I deducted a star for that. I realized it quickly on the plain white screen, as if the difference wasn't going to be noticed once the film was projected. I eventually returned it because it was ineffective for travel, but if you are only going to use it periodically, it would likely be sufficient for your needs.
