Do the speakers have wires or are they ?

It is wired and comes with the wire.

Whenever I watch Netflix, the picture appears on my screen. The sound is still coming from a cable channel, so why is that so?

If you're using a smart TV instead of a streaming device, choose the HDMI input on the TV and use the optical or RCA outputs on the TV to connect to the receiver. If neither of those methods are available, use the HDMI inputs on the DVR and streaming device. You can resolve the issue with your TV if it is an issue with your TV.

Compared to the 4930, what are the differences? Does it seem like the specs are the same?

The HDMI passthrough on the 4K is responsible for the issue. A bigger subwoofer would also be useful.

What is the procedure for increasing the volume of output sent to Bluetooth ?

You can adjust the volume using the Yamaha or Bluetooth Like a car, it works the same way

It's a great home theater kit with Dolby Digital Plus support
5/5

I just bought it to replace the LG BH9431PW, which had been causing problems. In spite of LG claiming it supported Dolby Digital Plus, the new channels from Roku, Amazon, or Netflix were unable to decode the new encoding. With this kit, you get an excellent Yamaha receiver that plays DD+ output that is coming from Amazon and Netflix channels. In case anyone is wondering, the AV receiver included in the kit is the RX-PZ84XV (RX-PZ84XV) The R385 is. Among LG's highlights so far compared to the previous LG BH9431PW are the following I'm super excited to see Dolby Digital Plus support in this release! My Dolby 5 has been installed now. My Amazon Channel and Netflix Channel have 1 output each. The number one reason for buying this unit was because of its durability. We have a Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote that maps all of our devices, and LG forced it to cycle through their inputs in order to get to the ROKU on HDMI2 to the DVR on HDMI1 or vice versa. As a result, the user had to spend a long time with the remote pointed at the equipment and the bluetooth scanning was prone to fail if it took too long for it to complete. It is not possible to switch between HDMI2 and HDMI3 with any delays or errors with the new Yamaha receiver. Wire connectors are used on the speakers. Almost all of the old speakers could not be plugged into the LG due to the strange, proprietary connection plug and wire routing The receiver I used with the old system was not compatible with the new system, which was what prompted me to buy a complete home theater system instead of upgrading the receiver. In order to use the auto-correct feature, tap the auto-correct icon The speaker setup was good.

The system comes with a microphone that can be connected with the monitor so you can tweak the speaker settings to fit your Not only will the setup program validate the functional and wiring of the speakers, it will also calculated the relative distances between the speaker and the viewing location to ensure that each speaker has an adequate volume. * Volume trimming between inputs. In addition to speaker balancing, the unit will also let you adjust the volume between inputs. This features came in handy since our DVR volume was a bit louder than the tuner's, and our ROKU was a bit smaller. With the volume of the inputs much closer to each other, we have now improved relative volume. There is a powered subwoofer. In comparison to my previous setup, this subwoofer seems to have a bit more punch. The following are some things that could be improved This wireless surround connection provides a wireless connection to your surround system. I used to have a wireless connection between the main unit and a satellite surround base unit on my old LG surround speaker setup. Since I had to run long speaker cables to the back of the room with the new Yamaha, I had to install remote speakers. While it is a pain to run power back to that location, at least I no longer have to do so.

The price you pay for the product or service you receive
3/5

It's a cheap system from start to finish. This is a disappointing product from Yamaha. The remote looks like a child's toy. The speakers are light weight, and their sound quality is poor. I have had great success with past Yamaha products, but this has not been Don't throw away your money on a cheap device when you can invest in a proper audio system.

Quite good, but not as great as we would like
4/5

I expected a new system to have the standard DTS and DOLBY variations, but Yamaha does not offer any of these. The device has NEO 6 processing, which is similar to NEO 5. Though it may not be as accurate as I would like, there is nothing wrong with the tone. The information on this topic would have been helpful had I known it ahead of time, but after reading about it and using it for a while, I'm fine I assumed the features were there, which was my fault. After a short look at the Yamaha manual, it does have some pretty useful features once you get to know it. Although it isn't very intuitive at first, it does have some really useful functionality once you get to know it. As the mids are very bright, I spent some time using the EQ to get rid of them. I'm sure that anyone who has heard CREED albums or movies, will agree that the sub woofer is tight, but not for the long "demon bass. " About half of the way is fine. I use the bass boost button as needed. Besides the bass being hard to ignore next door, no one is going to call the cops on you. But it's quite There was nothing I disliked about the supplied mic except that it auto-tuned The feature was nice and it seemed like it did its job well. My cheap Pioneer 5 is being replaced by a more expensive Pioneer There was one big box store system that lasted six years and was great to listen to. They were half the size but weighed more than these, so that was why I loved them so much. It has worn out, but it still has a long life. The Vizio TV is running my PC, a cable box, and a set of built-in apps, and everything is now being handled by HDMI and optical, allowing me to have five devices controlled from one screen. There is just 1 TV app built into the TV. My older Vizio TV also functions well with the ARC function. Thanks to the ability to rename inputs and skip ones I don't use, it was incredibly useful. With my S8, I have no issues with Bluetooth. There isn't much to recommend in terms of the construction of the speakers. Cheap, light and plastic are the characteristics of the speakers. It is for this reason that they sound so bright. EQ can soften that a bit, but these will not sound anything like a Bose speaker, for instance. There is an improvement in the sub. With it, you can adjust the volume and power it on. It sounded great when the volume was up and watching a couple of movies. You aren't turning up the music to 11. The music was good, but you weren't blaring it out. It usually takes at least seven or eight before things begin to Those who are fine with entry level sound and enjoy simplicity and ease of use will find this to be a good fit.

The 20 year old computer I was replacing is replaced by this A RCA system was used in the past. The audio system is easy to set up, has great sound, and a great remote. So far, I have not encountered any problems. It is convenient that you can name inputs when you save them, as well as display them. In the old system, this option was not available. Despite the quality of this system, I am confident that audio "experts" can identify deficiencies in the audio once compared to much higher-end systems. The cost is higher than many professional systems, but I think it's a good option for the average person looking for a theater experience at home without spending a ton of money.

Receiver with perfect audio quality + amazing speakers
5/5

I am on my third Yamaha receiver and speakers, and they are excellent. There are no imperfections in the surround, and the sound is excellent. In addition, the low price (low cost) is a major advantage. It is a great value if you are looking for a full home theatre system at a good price!.
