on each, 60 ohms on the other I get a response that is 24,400 Hz without any variation in decibels or a meaningful response curve. I have heard that they say An effective low end frequency is 65 Hz at 3db. This is a good value for use in a small room, such as a bedroom or an office between 10' and 10' in size. The bass is turned up a bit on mine so there's a nice balanced tone but I have the loudness on. Obviously, these would benefit from being paired with a subwoofer, but they are still adequate for listening to music on their own. The speakers would be much better if you were to spend at least double the money. You can sometimes find these on sale through Amazon and Best Buy sometime throughout the year for about $49 for the pair, which is what I bought, so they're even better when they're on sale. My comparison here is among small bookshelf speakers, and I feel you would need Boston Acoustics at $250 for a pair to be able to get anything better however, you may wish to compare them to ones from When I bought them for $49 I was extremely happy with them and how they have grown on me after I broke them in for a few hours. Do be aware that playing them too loud might cause some noise or rattling from the five little metal balls. You just have to make the most of the 25" woofer, and have realistic expectations of what a speaker of that size can do in terms of both sound and
As a result, it is determined by the receiver that you are using. Although this is an old question, I decided to post it in case it could be helpful to others in the future. You can select the set of speakers size on most receivers, and newer receivers (which are from the last few years) allow you to adjust the crossover settings for each speaker set. The basic idea is that if your sub crossover is set at 150Hz, you want your other speakers to continue the frequency where the sub has As a result, you would want your speaker system to "crossover" at 150 Hz. Speakers residing in this area will play sounds up to 150 Hz. The sounds between 80 and 150 hz will not be heard if you set your sub for 80 hz and your other speakers at 150 hz. Putting it all together, if you set your speakers to small, you'll want to check your receiver manual to see what the low frequency cut-off is before setting them to small. You set your sub crossover so you know what to set it at when it's off. Using this method, you will not lose a portion of the audio.
There are a few TVs I've seen that have speaker outputs, but they're There would be a label on your TV labeled "External Speakers" or something to that effect. In the absence of a receiver or amplifier, you would need a separate device.
In spite of the fact that the price appears to be for one, when the box of mine arrived, there were two in it. A pair of extras needs to be returned.

The speakers I bought in 2017 are still in great shape. As I was rearranging my living room, I noticed that I had an issue with one of my tower speakers. As a result, I pulled the speakers out and discovered 2 of them are fakes. You should take apart real speakers when you buy them so that you can use them.
On the other hand, I would like to respond to folks downgrading them as a result of their being "fake speakers. " There are a lot of speakers out there that do not have an electrified or wired way to increase bass output called passive radiators. You have no reason to penalize the product since the product clearly states that two of the speakers have passive radiators, so please do not condemn it for not knowing.
The 15th letter. A few months after I bought the Polk T15 speakers, I bought their S15 speakers at over double the price. Many online reviews state that the Polk S15 speakers are better than the Polk What I define as blowing away is the difference between the T15 and the drive through intercom at a fast food location. According to that measuring stick, the S15 was noticeably (although not significantly) superior to the S14. the choice is yours as to whether the cost difference of a noticeable difference is worth twice as much. Another way to put it is that the T15 gives you 90% the performance for less than half the cost, which is an incredible deal. As a bonus, they are also more versatile since they are more compact and front-ported (hard to find) because of which they can be placed right against a.
These speakers are probably best used as rear speakers in a home theater system, where they'll receive a much higher volume Stand-alone environments are less likely to have an ideal frequency balance than a computer network. Most listeners prefer the sounds of the Edifiers over the reverberant speakers of other manufacturers. Due to the easier lack of attention to a high frequency event than a low frequency event, you will likely not notice an absence of high frequency events. When you consider the fact that you don't need a receiver to run the Edifiers, you can add a Chromecast Audio to make them wirelessly enabled from the start, and the Edifiers make for a great stand-alone If you are planning to use the Polks as rear speakers, I highly recommend them if you are planning on using them for surround sound.
I think these speakers are great for the price they cost. I love the sound of them Accurate and clear with full details A good range of sounds is reproduced, along with some I bought them at a sale price, which made them somewhat of a no-brainer, although I also took into account Yamaha's and Sony's 3-inch audio systems There are two versions of this speaker a 2-way bookshelf speaker and a Polk Tsi100 that is almost identical, except the tsi100 has an active crossover, which they do not. It didn't matter to me for my purposes though As surrounds to a five, they serve that purpose. With a Sony receiver, 1 Polk system is used. Although surrounds are available, why would you pay more for them? It has excellent sound quality, and it transitions in a faithful fashion between complex passages and more isolated passages. As well as providing both acoustic and electronic elements to their music, they are also adept at mixing them together. My impression of the soundstage would be that it is present, with a clear separation between the possess a nice sense of tonality, then again that will depend on what kind of music you play through them. They may be a bit crisp, but they are not shrill. EDIT*br*br*br (Ed. My speakers have supplied me with a great deal of entertainment for years now, and I have heard all kinds of music and movies on them. You should be fine with these programs as long as you recognize their weaknesses and strengths. haven't thoroughly tested them yet, nor have I put them through their paces with a home theater audio source, however their performance with music suggests they'll handle movie audio very There is no AC electrical outlet on them, so you would have to use an adapter or battery. They are rated at only 50w continuous or 100w peak, so that is something to consider. Throughout the engineering process, Polk had a focus on fidelity of sound. You won't get any bass like you would with a 3-inch There is a two-way speaker here. Each of them has a maximum. Its volume rating may make it difficult to use as a main in a large room. In any case, they cost less than $100 for a pair and sound wonderful given )I would say they are perfect for a 5 in that they are recessed. As a result, the wattage rating is not critical with the 1 system, which places lower power demands on rear speakers. Although they would work as part of a home theater set if there were four - If you have a small room, you might want to go with 4 speakers plus a subwoofer. There is a frequency. Since the response only extends down to 60khz, this is not going to be able to deliver powerful bass. However, you will hear some bass, which sounds surprisingly clean in sound selections that are low in volume All channels are affected by the isolated end and the ripple effects. I personally chose the Monitor 60s for my main speakers because I listen to so much Truthfully, those might be a bit excessive in some regards since it doesn't take too much sound to fill up the room in which they are situated, which is about 10x10 or 12x12 feet. Despite this, the M60s sound great coupled with both the T15s and PSW10, and could easily serve as the main entertainment system in a large living room. Additionally, I have no reservations about replacing the T15s on the main system with my Yamaha surrounds, including the fact that they are fairly large and bulky. If you decide to wall-mount them, there is a keyhole opening in the back of the unit You can mount them or lock them down. In terms of the cabinet itself, it is well-constructed The grilles have been made and they look impressive without them. As a whole, I am very pleased with my purchase, so far they have performed flawlessly and were exactly as I anticipated. You now have at least two times the options from a bookshelf speaker if you want better bass There will also be a physical space limit since it will be 3x more expensive. Yamaha's 3-stroke engine is one example The way is marketed as a bookshelf speaker, but its woofer is fairly large and it's kept in a midsize cabinet, where it may end up overpowering Then that might be an option for the mains if you don't have room or budget for a subwoofer and/or floor-standing speakers Stand-alone speakers in a 5. 1 surround system will be overkill, but they're preferable to standing speakers. The setup has 1 device. However, the T15s will not attempt to give you the floor if you don't want it The smaller package offers better sound quality than 2-inch models, but do not compare in price to more expensive models The speaker is a two-way bookshelf model. Their price point places them somewhere between a design marvel and an engineering marvel, and as long as you have realistic expectations, you will likely be pleasantly surprised.
