Positive and negative feedback are pushed by the speakers.
Back left and right are round speakers, while front left, right, and center are square speakers. To make a wide sound, turn the center on its side.
This is for a 5-inch receiver. You can choose between a passive subwoofer and a powered subwoofer for your first subwoofer.
It is not recommended that these speakers be placed in boxes, according to the manufacturer. For each speaker to function properly, there must be at least one cubic foot of airspace behind it.

during the time period These speakers sounded nothing like I had expected, i. e. They sounded awful, which was particularly aggravating given that I had just drilled some fairly large holes in my walls and ceiling to mount them. I tried a few things to change the sound, such as adjusting my receiver's delays, covering the tweeters to eliminate the tin sound, and so on, but nothing worked. That is, until two days later, when they started sounding fantastic. I had no idea that breaking speakers in was a thing, but it seemed to be the case with these. Now they make me very happy.
This speaker set was purchased for my home theater's ceiling. Because the template is smaller than it should be, it was difficult to install. Because my ceiling is black, I had to paint the grille and frame to match because they only come in white; however, the biggest mistake I made was installing and painting them before actually testing the product; once everything was wired up (and I have plenty of experience in this field), I discovered that one of the speakers (MT-1) was defective. 6) was faulty, causing my receiver to turn off on its own, which I was able to stop once I disconnected the speaker. I'm afraid I won't be able to return these speakers because I've already painted them and I don't want to have to remove the other four speakers that are already in place. I guess I'll just take the hit and buy a similar-sized and impedance speaker. Spend a little more on a good set to save yourself some headaches.
We received these a while ago, and I wanted to wait to leave a review in case anything unexpected happened. After a couple of tricks, these speakers sound fantastic for the price we paid. To deaden the hollow sound in-between the speakers, we first installed acoustic foam in the wall cavity. The use of wall speakers is well-known. After that, we used good quality 14 gauge copper speaker wire with gold plated pin connectors and padded the ceiling speakers with acoustic foam in the attic to direct more sound downward. br>br>After an audio calibration, the sound these produce now is very similar to that of Polk and JBL. If you're a music audiophile, you'll have to pay more because these speakers can produce a slightly muddy sound when playing music, but they're perfect for movies and video games when paired with a good subwoofer and receiver. They have a lot of punch, crisp highs, and clear voices. We couldn't be more pleased. br>br>**If I had to complain about anything, it would be the lack of a speaker cover for painting them, the fact that the cutout template is paper, making it a one-time use item, and the fact that one of the copper coils fell off during shipping, requiring me to solder it back on before first use.
The majority of the speakers have terminal style connections, while others have 'push' spring loaded inputs; in either case, the sound was fantastic right out of the box. If I had another need for it, I would buy it again.
I ended up purchasing a replacement speaker from a different brand, which works perfectly. If anyone is interested in making things right, please contact me. When I bought this set, one of the speakers was defective, so the manufacturer provided me with a replacement. around. I also purchased the warranty, which I found to be useless. The Bluetooth connection was unreliable. I couldn't even get a 10-foot distance away from the receiver. When the sound stopped working, I didn't think it was a big deal. There would be video but no sound on all of the outputs. It came back on a couple of nights after I waited a few minutes. I had it on for several hours tonight with no results. I'm really annoyed with this product because it controls all of my television devices. I'd like to be compensated for this subpar product.
These were something I really wanted to enjoy. They have a lot of positive feedback. Based on Amazon reviews, I purchased a new Pioneer VSX receiver and Polk Sub, and connected them all to these Acoustic Audio speakers, which sounded terrible. My wife and mother, who was also visiting, thought it sounded off, not just a little bit, but a lot. There is no mid-range, only a tinny high-frequency sound and a smidgeon of bass across all speakers. I tried replacing the speaker wire, but it didn't work. I tried every Pioneer setting I could think of, but nothing helped. I connected my old Panasonic all-in-one speakers to the system, and it sounded great, confirming that the problem was caused by these speakers and not something else. With my current setup, I ordered the Micca ceiling speakers, and they sound fantastic. I would have been fine with these if they had just sounded decent, but while they might be adequate for a shopping mall restroom, they were far from adequate for a home theater. I'm not sure if I got a bad set, but these are going back.
I was blown away by the quality and clarity of these five speakers. Friends are blown away by the surround sound quality and can't believe I got it for $150.
