While ordering, I was not aware that it did not come with a remote control. In fact, I did purchase the remote and I managed As of yet, I cannot play any DVDs on the device. In all my years of owning this equipment, I have never watched a DVD. The piece of equipment I received has left me very disappointed!

In the beginning VCRs weren't so good, so I bought a DVD-player As I wasn't going to replace my tapes with DVDs, I still had to install a DVD player. I took a chance and purchased a refurbished unit after my previous unit died after 10 years. I didn't find any new hybrid players at an affordable price, so the refurbished unit was the only option. I think this move is so far a good one. The item appears to be brand new and works fine. The company that I chose had a remote control that others did not and the price was affordable.
My order was for a replacement unit for the same unit I had owned before. Despite knowing the replacement unit didn't come with a remote, my original remote still worked fine and performed all the functions it should. No problems with either VHS tape or DVD during my movie watching experience. There were no issues testing forward and rewind on the VHS and with the DVD menu options (stop, skip, step, etc. ). The physical shape of the unit looked like it had never been used before, without any scratches or dings. It came with a video cable and all connections were in good condition. During the week of 6-26, I ordered the item August to October There was a delivery on 10 and it arrived on 19 August to October Delivery was made on August 19, which was two weeks earlier than expected. It will be my task this week to put more VHS/DVD media through it and also to check the recording function (only for VHS). As of now, it appears to be going well.
This product does not come with a remote control. It won't work on my DVD player. This VCR does not work at all, shuts down every time I try to use it, and VHS will not discharge the tape. Will be returning it very soon, deeply disappointed.
While I gave 1 star, I would rather give 0 stars. I hate to see money wasted.
After buying my own remote for the product, I still never could get it to work. The product will be returned to you. I am awaiting the instructions and labels for return.
Store staff had just given me a brand new remote. That part was good. The VHS was advertised as a slightly used item. There were a lot of people who used it. It is very scratched and banged up on one side. There is no recording and I am not happy with the.
My mom was supposed to receive it for Mother's Day and when we plugged it in we noticed it was a little damaged on one side, but we didn't think anything of it until it stopped working.
