I purchased it purely for this purpose and it failed to fulfill my expectations. I posted the same information to the seller and never received a response.
A couple of months ago, both the dvd and video cassette played fine. Now both of them freeze up after sometime. Although I have run a cleaner on it, the same problem still occurs. There is a very big disappointment for me.
