The DVD player on my computer does not play DVDs Although I should have returned it, I did not use it right away after I purchased it. If it were me, I would not buy this product

As advertised, the product wasn't what it seemed to be! I was unable to play it on DVD or VCR mode. In order to confirm that the unit was defective, I paid a Panasonic Technical Support Representative. It failed after we went through a series of steps to get it to work properly. As a result, I made arrangements to ship the unit back to them to recover my investment. MY OPINION IS AMAZON SHOULD NOT INCLUDE ITEMS LIKE THIS IN ITS SELECTION. The third time I have attempted to purchase equipment like this, the equipment has consistently been defective and has had to be returned. ATTACHED TO THE FACT THAT AMAZON ALLOWS ITEMS to go on sale when they have not been thoroughly examined, I estimate AMAZON is losing quite a bit of credibility with its customers.
Quite pleased with the VCR and DVD. Why aren't Panasonic's cameras available anymore? With so many quality models on offer, how can you afford them? So far this remote is working well. After the first failed to work, Peter instantly sent a new one. . . which works fine. Very quick service from him. The first remote didn't work and Peter immediately sent a new one which worked like a charm.
Since I did not receive an instruction manual, I don't know how to set it up, so it has been sitting in its box for the last how many months since I bought At one point, I had it hooked up and plugged in, but the screen was blank. For some instructions on how to set it up, I Googled the model and make but was not successful since the remote I received was different from the one outlined I love free stuff, but this is wasteful A waste of almost three hundred dollars.
I went in search of a combo player since I couldn't find a VHS player. I bought it for a fair price in a good The package was delivered on time. The only issue was that they forgot the remote, but had included a letter with the combo player with instructions. The package arrived 2 days after it was sent. I loved it so much that I gave it to my mother. I was able to hook up without any problem. It is a good thing that she is happy, so I am too.
The VCR and DVD player I bought for $150 has only provided me with $98 in value. You will receive a refund of 98 when you return a faulty VCR and DVR. As the unit did not work, the vcr flap was stuck and the video stuck in the player, so I will not purchase again from this vendor. A more than $51 charge is slapped on top of the return I paid for. My upset is a result of the $00 return.
Many of the items necessary for using the machine were missing, and after three telephone calls, my husband decided that it was not worth the hassle to try and fix the machine.
I could not turn on either the VHS player or the DVD player after receiving it. was able to get the VHS player to play my tape by pulling out the tape that had the label "Stephania Birdthday 1-" This is 93'(sic). The top cover of the DVD player could not be removed and I had to fish a yellow crayon from the innards of the player to open it. There was no return address given in the package. There's no doubt Amazon needs to tighten their standards for what qualifies as remanufactured goods.
