I have included it. I had an HDMI cable attached to my laptop.
A HDMI-compatible television should be able to pair with this device
Yes, it comes with a remote control.
Does not appear to do so. The player is perfect for my needs as I only wanted a cheap dvd player. I'm willing to pay $30 for this. There is not much to look forward to in this edition of 2000.

According to the instructions, I read them. A HDMI cable was plugged into the HDMI jack and a power cord into the power jack. Then, after pressing the power key and unsure whether the unit had powered up (there is no light or other indication that it had), I pressed the open/close button (the tray opened), inserted a DVD, It took more than a minute for the 'Loading' sign to appear In my frustration, I waited (and waited) for the movie to start, and decided to press 'Play', thinking that that might be the answer to watching it. It wasn't long before the movie began. Yes, I do! I watched the movie for about five minutes before it stopped. I spent close to half an hour on this, before re-boxing it and requesting a return. If you have read all I have written you will know how that ended.
For my brother, who was in need of a DVD, I purchased one of these. It costs $90 if you buy the new version in a box. 000 then found this one that had been refurbished. In the box it was wrapped as if it were a brand Almost all parts had never been It's likely that someone bought this and returned it not realizing that it was for HDMI. In other words, it's Could I get a unit that is essentially new for $5000? So I've decided to buy a few more for myself and others.
As of now, this DVD player seems to be functioning well. My first day of using it was just yesterday. I hope I'll have great years of use from There is some minor scuffing on the front (see photos), but it's not very noticeable and ultimately it will be placed Originally packaged, it arrived in its original box. For your information I did not receive batteries when I ordered.
What a tragedy! The purchase of this property was a mistake. I could not use the remote control. There were buttons on top of the DVD player that worked, but you had to push them hard in order to use As of now, there are only open/close and stop/play buttons on the top of the device. With the remote not working, it would have been nice if they could have been pressed As a result, I could not play my dvd, since I was not able to make a selection.
Having HDMI output capability, this DVD player is simple to use. As you might expect for a product at this price point, the build quality is acceptable. A high level of quality is evident in the images. The archaic approach to the user interface was astounding. I am fairly adept at working with various electronic devices' user interfaces, but I admit that I had to consult a reference book to figure out some things. An interface similar to that of DVD products from 20+ years ago can be seen. The DVD-Video market is small, and not many DVDs are available Players are the only ones remaining (most do Bluray as well). In the case of my senior parents, they were already using Bluray for movies, so I did not see the need to shell out the extra dollars for a Bluray player that would not be used. When I bought them their first DVD player, it was from the local drugstore, and it lasted just three or four months of very infrequent use before breaking down. Hope we'll be able to also use this one in the future. This one includes an HDMI cable, so it was the best deal. No matter how it was renewed, it wasn't important In all practicality, it was brand new (maybe a few scuff marks on the front plate if I tried to find them closely). While I'm imagining they're all probably made in the same place, I was perhaps unreasonably comforted by the fact that it was a name brand I was familiar with, Sony, rather than an off brand.
It looked great and worked great, and it worked so well that it was easy to hook up. I've never bought a refurbished product before, so I was a little hesitant.
This is exactly how it was I couldn't believe the condition of the product, and it worked perfectly. The kit includes everything you will need for an offline installation, including a If you are hooking up a sound system, you will need RCA cables. I would say the value is good. A few suggestions Instructions that are better The system is a little muddled, but it is not difficult to understand. There would have been a nice touch had the game included AA batteries.
It was definitely a mistake to purchase this refurbished model. When I loaded a new dvd into the tray and pressed play, it took about a minute for the movie to start, and then it kept freezing when it finally did. When I put in a new dvd it worked too. Ejecting the old one and putting it in again hit the same issue. After I removed the cover from the dvd player, everything appeared to be brand new both inside and out, unless you count cleaning the laser with eyeglass cleaner and a Q-tip There was no dirt on it even though it was a tip. The second DVD I put in the tray was merely loaded when I tried to play it. The hdmi cable has been switched to rca and the rca cable has been used, but nothing has Once again, I have tried switching around the settings on both my television and dvd player, but I have not been able to resolve the issue. It would've been better for me to buy an old Sony used on eBay, and I would've gotten a better return on my money. I spent two wasted hours troubleshooting and I still had no luck. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time on this junk. The price of 37$ is also way too high for this piece of junk. This is just something you should not buy.
