Could it be connected to a TV from the old era?

You should be able to connect it if your TV has the red, white, and yellow RCA plugs. There may be a need to try a different input or station setting on the TV, but I cannot see why it wouldn't work? My old smart TV is more than five years old, and it was able to connect with no problem

How much space does it have? Will it play discs that were burned at home?

Home movies recorded on disc will be played by this device.

I did not know how to connect the DVD player to the television, and the instructions were not clear either. In addition to a second power cable, it does not specify what jack to connect to. In order to connect Pb and Pr, a second power cable is needed. The color of this connection can be seen here. Using the official red, white, and yellow power cord that came with the player, connect the unit to the TV as follows A white video input goes to the left, a red audio input goes to the right, and a yellow video input goes to the right. Thanks to the high-definition capability of the TV, the picture is excellent.

Make sure you know what you're buying

There was no coaxial cable included with this piece of junk! My previous DVD players have all included this piece, but this is the first that does not. Seeing as how most stores continue to be closed, good luck finding the part. They could at least have warned you of this before you made the course, you can go to Amazon and get a cable for three times the price you'd get at a store, but those stores are all closed as well. The Sony products I have purchased in the past will never be purchased again. All their products have failed to live up to my expectations.

Easily set up and quick to use Simple to use went right into action I liked how quiet it was and how good the picture quality was. If I were to buy this again, I would definitely do so.

Purchase does not make sense

Not all DVDs are compatible with this player. Not all DVDs can be played by the Sony DVD player we bought. The disk is dirty, so the message says.

This Sony DVD player has been in my bedroom for years and is still excellent. That was for my living room. You'll want to hang this one in your Sony has made my life so much better! It has never been a problem for me. The best EVER!.
